Villa vacation rentals in Salzkammergut

We were for a girls vacation in the beautiful laundry house in Grassau. The place is totally cute and shopping is within walking distance. The location is a very good starting point for hikes on site, but day trips to Königssee or Tegernsee can also be reached within an hour's drive. Lake Chiemsee is "next door" and there are plenty of possibilities there too. The house was super nicely decorated and we felt very comfortable.

a very clean, pleasant home. perfect location and home for a family vacation with a large group. everything is tip top in order. Robert is a very friendly and polite host. We immediately got a warm and homely feeling upon arrival. Definitely recommended!

A beautiful house that has fully fulfilled our wishes as shown in the pictures. Due to its strategically good location, there are a variety of opportunities for activities. Lisa had also left great tips (also for restaurants). We definitely recommend the place.

We stayed with Nathalie for the second time and felt very comfortable. Everything clean and very individually decorated. There's something new to discover every time. Since we were there every time in winter, we did not yet enjoy the beautiful garden and the great terrace. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The house is centrally located and everything is within walking distance (train station, center, restaurants, bakery...). Nathalie is the warmth in person. We'll be happy to come back.

We had such a great time at Marion and Felix's place. They gave us amazingly great recommendations, and we couldn't even get to them all . If you come here do go to Kondiitorei Grellinger has incredible cakes and ice cream, Hacklpizza has surprisingly GREAT pizza, and Lehamn's Kulturcafe is super-relaxed and the food simple and fresh. You are minutes away from a public swimming spot,and swimming in the Traunstein in July was plenty warn - I thought warmer than the Alte Donau just a few days earlier, and so clean. We didn't miss having a TV at all, it;s such a relaxing place to be - and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the train station where you can get to places like Bad Ischl, and Ebensee if you exhaust the walks in Gmunden. There are great walks at Feuerkogel (Ebensee) and Katrin (Bad Ischl). I hope to come back to Gmunden, and if we do we will certainly stay here or at their loft room. Joost and Catharina are extremely responsive, detailed, warm and we very much appreciated their making our Christmas holiday special. The house is in a gorgeous location, it has alot of character. We enjoyed hanging out by the fire in the living room, cooking in spacious kitchen, and nearby access to good ski resorts. Heating is tricky for such a large house, and they did their best with wood supply, electric radiators, blankets, etc that we found adequate. They were super responsive as well when the clothes washer needed fixing. Thanks!

Ray was a wonderful host. He always went out of his way to make us feel welcome. he spent a lot of time sending us recommendations and suggestions for things to do and see. The house was large accommodating 6 of us perfectly. The home is walking distance to some restaurants and grocery store. Also a shirt drive to city center. Definitely recommend for long or short stay.

It was a great weekend and we felt super comfortable. The host was always quickly accessible and was very attentive and gave us a great welcome.

We had a lovely stay in this house. A lot of space, big rooms, very well equipped kitchen and a big living room. Just a five minutes walk to the grocery store, the city center, the ski bus to Saalbach and Kaprun and the slopes in Zell am Zee. We have made several trips to different countries and stayed in various apartments and houses during skiing season, but this was one of the best. Michael responded very quickly to our questions and made sure that we had a great stay. We can really recommend this house.

Wow where to start - I booked this air bnb for my husband’s birthday, we were with two other families who has 2 young kids each and we all loved the place! It’s so beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t even leave the airbnb. Kids really loved it - pool was obviously the highlight but there were also so many games and books, that you don’t even need to bring anything with you to entertain the kids. We were actually a bit sad that it was only 2 nights! Its easily the best air bnb we’ve stayed. Also so easy to access from Salzburg or Munich by car or train. There’s a big supermarket nearby, so you can do all your shopping. And the host was great, so helpful and responsive. We would love to go back!

Lovely home in a lovely location. Travel tip: Exactly follow house rules and have a vehicle is required, as the house is located remotely from the store and lake. Very nice hosts, all problems were solved with Kiara in the best possible way. Be sure to read the rules in the voucher carefully and you are provided with a paradise vacation.

Stay was perfect. Great communication with the host! The apartment was very clean and exactly as described. We were there for skiing and could get into the ski bus just outside the apartment door. We'll be happy to come back!
