When you walk into this beautifully decorated house, you will feel right at home. Carola has thought of everything you could possibly need or want. We cooked breakfast every morning in the kitchen which was stocked better than most people’s homes. Perfect, quiet location between Galway and Cliffs of Moher. We loved going to the pubs in Kinvarra and hanging out with the locals during a music session.

Brilliant location within walking distance of all the main attractions , restaurants and bars. The house was well equipped with everything needed, and more. It was spotlessly clean and had big and comfortable bedrooms. Lots of natural light and great views of the harbour. Pamela was so helpful in the lead up to our visit and quickly responded to any questions we had. The place was perfect for our group and would definitely recommend.

Loved our stay in near Galway. Our host was extremely gracious and responsive through the week. The location was accessible and offered lots of nearby activities for our week stay. We would recommend renting a car for the week if you stay here as Uber and taxi weren’t very accommodating for the location. Would stay again!

This little house is really as described and photographed. What is nice is that it is really dependent (and after looking for a lot of rentals on Airbnb it is still quite rare, especially in terms of quality /price). It was very clean and the showers were very convenient (good pressure and hot water). It is very well located, because ideally located between Connemara and Galway👍. Sinead was very responsive for all our questions for the reservation and during our stay. 👌 I recommend this rental 😉

I recently stayed at a lovely spot near Ashford Castle for a wedding, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The location is unbeatable—just a short, two-minute drive to the venue and with stunning views overlooking the pier. It’s a peaceful and picturesque area, ideal for anyone attending events in the Cong area. The property itself is cozy, well-maintained, and the perfect retreat after a day of celebrations. If you’re attending a wedding or event at Ashford Castle or simply visiting Cong, I highly recommend staying here. The proximity to the castle and the serene surroundings made the whole experience even more memorable. Would definitely stay here again!

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at Helen’s mountain cottage! The setting is breathtaking and so close to nature. Birdsong, pheasant squawks, sheep bleating and an ever-changing sky. The views are amazing. The cottage is charming and welcoming, a perfect place to enjoy peaceful privacy and beautiful walks. Helen was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We didn’t meet Jurgen, but he graciously left us beautiful firewood for the stove. He built the gorgeous sauna, which fits perfectly with the rustic experience. We had some great weather, so we loved having a fire outside as we gazed at the lake, sky and landscape. The cottage is not luxurious, but we loved it and the peaceful surroundings. Heidi the happy dog was a sweet addition to our stay. You will be so glad you booked this magical place! Thank you, Helen and Jurgen!

Beautiful view over Lough Corrib. Added bonus of being able to take a rowing boat out on the lake. Garden is well maintained and mature. Hugh is very responsive and helpful with lots of tips on what to see and do. A very enjoyable week for us as a family.

We had a great and comfortable stay at Sean’s Cottage! The place is in a beautiful location near Connemara National park and Galway City, and the accommodations were perfect. The house is comfortable and Bernie was quick to respond.

Really enjoyed Galway and wished we had longer to stay. The property was fantastic. Excellent location with everything is walking distance but peaceful as well. It was in immaculate condition, really clean and well appointed. Would recommend this property highly.
