Family-friendly vacation rentals in Salisbury

Shari is an absolute gem! She left. personal note for us (we were there under stressful circumstances) Her place is amazing. The house was not as clean as it could have been, but thst was NOT her fault! The rental agency was very responsive. Ideal layout and comfy furniture! Easy for my 80/90 year old parents to navigate. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second visit, and we loved it even more. I would give it the most glorious review based on how clean, peaceful, beautiful, and efficient this whole place is. And then on top of it you have the sweetest animals to visit, a beautiful walk to the pond, and the firepit that we roasted the most amazing smores on. This weekend has been the most relaxed I've been in a long time.

The house is amazing. Extremely well equipped. Amazing decks, docks etc. Great gas grill. Amazing lower level with bar and game room. All three bathrooms and showers are really nice, including outdoor shower. 😀 All of the wall hangings and niknacs are very nice and make it feel like a real home and not just a rental. I could go on and on but I only have so much space. Thanks for sharing your fabulous home. It made our sons wedding week very special!

The Zen Retreat was amazing! Even though we were in a neighborhood, it felt like we were in a secluded garden. It was so peaceful and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend.

My daughter and I really enjoyed staying at Marshall’s house. I was visiting Charlotte and wanted a place close to restaurants and shopping but also in a safe, quiet neighborhood. We found that at Marshall’s house. We were happy he allowed us to bring our pup along. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub in the fall weather at night. The house was spacious and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The host was very quick to respond and also check in with us during our stay.

This is a big House. It has one European style living room and traditional one. It is great. the House got everything. We have a team and everyone satisfied with this beautiful House. I think we will stay here if we have next year travel schedule. Farida is nice in communication.

We loved our stay at Andrews Farm. The cabin is so peaceful and beautiful. Great location! We loved being able to walk around the property and fish in the lake. The accommodations were wonderful and cozy! We all loved the trip and want to come back.

Preston's place was great. Check in was super easy, the house was very clean and close to everything. I'm looking forward to staying again!

This was my second time staying here. The cottage accommodation is perfect for my needs and those of my little pup. I really enjoy the many design features and attention to detail. Jennifer is a great host. Very friendly and proactive, thorough and clear. The location is also terrific with great restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops nearby.

Carla was a very thoughtful host. There were snacks, bottled water, coffee and teas with honey, even half and half for the coffee. She provided firewood and skewers for roasting marshmallows. She helped us find the best restaurants with great local recommendations. We even met her dog when we first got there so that everyone was on good terms (no barking, etc.) It's was very easy to have a relaxing weekend at her place.

We had a wonderful time! We were in town for a busy wedding and the process was so smooth and simple that it made the weekend much easier! The place was so nice and is a great location. We have always had a great experience with this host and will definitely be staying again in the future!

House was great, pretty private, great pool. Lots of space for the family and there were snacks out for us which everyone really enjoyed. Had everything we needed for our stay. The only negative about the house was listed no pets. But there clearly were pets that lived there. Being highly allergic to animals with fur that probably would have not chosen that location. I needed to medicate the whole time. Other than that the home was what we needed.

Great place to stay to visit the area. The tiny house experience was neat. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed in Charlotte for 6 weeks to get a feel for living in the city, and Rachel's place was a great introduction to the area. The apartment is a short 10 minute walk to the main bars and restaurants in Uptown Charlotte. There is also a great coffee shop (sneakily also a bar) across the street that I would recommend. Any small issue that arose, Rachel was extremely responsive and everything was solved as soon as it was able to. Overall, very satisfied with my stay at Rachel's apartment!

Our family rented the Fountain of Young over Thanksgiving as a central location to gather 3 generations together. It's ideal for families; there are enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space, yet many spaces to gather together. The media room with the projector screen was a huge hit, as was the heated outdoor pool (a perk when most rentals close up their pools once summer is over). We enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pits; the private beach and kayaks looked inviting for those renting in warmer weather. There are beautiful views of the lake from many spots along the rear of the house. Lastly I must comment on the kitchen - I have never rented an Air bnb with a better equipped kitchen! Any kitchen gadget you could possibly need is on site. For all the dishes, glasses, bakeware, etc., everything was so clean - they have an awesome cleaning crew. Also love that this rental is green they have detailed recycling instructions.

Excellent location and beautiful space. Lovely view of the city, area feels very safe. Walkable to restaurants and there is a great little coffee shop just up the street. It was the perfect location for our trip!

We were there for a wedding to the Ivory Barn and the location was perfect. We loved the porch. It was ideal for what we needed.
