Vacation rentals in Salavaux

We had a pleasant stay in Portalban; close to beaches, 3 lakes, hikes; and ideal starting point to visit many remarkable Swiss sites (Gruyères, Le Creux du Van, Avenches, Morat, Bern, Solothurn, La Chaux-de-Fond...) The cottage is quiet, close to nature; (we often had the visit of a fox); on the edge of the Roselière. Philipp was a kind and attentive host with us We recommend this property. Beautiful apartment with a large living area, two decent size bedrooms and a large bathroom. Plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out with a well stocked kitchen. There is a stream running down the side of the house which is relaxing to listen to sat in the pleasant garden. We skied whilst there and can recommend parking at Lenk as there is a large free car park to access the slopes. Short walk into town to shops and restaurants. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Daisy is a great host. Place feels like home from very first moment. Pictures don’t show the true beauty of it. Location is just amazing - beautiful nature, animals, great spots to visit, lot of things to do during the day. At night, peace and quietness, we’ve seen Milky Way every single night. Really worth visiting! Thank you Daisy for letting us use your home!

We had a beautiful senour in this cozy and modern Chalet. The spaces and equipment are perfect, very comfortable, there is everything you need to be well. We enjoyed the joys of winter around the cottage and the beautiful walks to do in the area. We will definitely return to this little corner of heaven surrounded by nature and super well entrenched by Frédéric and Stéphanie, who are adorable and welcoming hosts.

We really enjoyed staying at Laurent's charming and extremely well maintained chalet. There was enough space for the whole family and the spacious living space invited you to cozy gatherings - even in bad weather. There was a lot to discover for the children in and around the house and the view is fantastic. Laurent is a very warm and accommodating host. We were immediately in good hands and felt comfortable. We highly recommend the place and look forward to visiting again!

We had a great stay. The location is great for taking peaceful walks around and also close to Bern, Lausanne and Geneva. Sebastian was very responsive and the visits to Alpacas made the place memorable.

Jemila is a very lovely and helpful person. The apartment was impeccable and spacious. Everything is new, the kitchen is complete and convenient. The large and comfortable beds. Huge living. We had a pleasant stay, quiet... why not come back. Thanks again 👍
