Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois

This is a lovely house and we really enjoyed our stay during the Olympics. Valerie was extremely helpful and responsive. We could not have asked for more.

We had a great time at Charlotte’s house. She was very helpful and responsive and helped us massively getting in and around Paris for the Olympics. Would recommend this to anyone and would happily come back if I was coming back to France. Very well equipped kitchen and tidy with everything needed for a stay.

It was very nice to stay at Laurence's place. The location is perfect for relaxing close to nature, climbing or even taking a trip to Paris. Communication was friendly and super accessible. The kitchen is well equipped and the oven gave us cozy warmth.

We had a great weekend with friends in Yair's house which is very warm and pleasant. We were able to enjoy a lot of the Fontainebleau forest and the village of Barbizon, both being within a 10-minute walk of the house.

Jean-Yves and Sandrine were very welcoming, very attentive and above all very pleasant. Our kids and we had a nice weekend. We'll choose this place again for the next time we visit with our family.

Damien is a very welcoming and available host. The accommodation is luxurious and clean. As for the garden, it is a small haven of peace out of sight. I recommend it!

We had a FANTASTIC 10 days at Samuel's place! We did a great mix of days in Paris (park at Bois du Roi then there are regular trains to Gare du Lyon which takes 35 minutes!!) and local days exploring the forest and Barbizon. We highly recommend Fontainebleau as a day out. The town is very pretty and the chateau is well worth a visit! The house has lots of space and great facilities. A well equipped kitchen and lovely outside space. The pool was a hit with our youngest but a bit cold for the adults! The house has lots of character and is well decorated throughout. The indoor swing was a lovely chill spot for children too. Although the house is in a quiet spot there are lots of shops close by. Check in was very straightforward and all the information was well communicated. I highly recommend this house. It's a real stunner!

Valérian is very responsive. Large house, clean, located on fenced-in lot. Ultra quiet area a few minutes walk from RER C or N.

The apartment is comfortable and quiet. The host was very attentive.

Stay was just as advertised! Architecture is just lovely. It was nice to have access to a washer/dryer after traveling for a few days. Of note, the spiral stairs are intense - approximately 80+ steps to the unit with no lift. If you have large or heavy luggage, I would not recommend. If you are pregnant, disabled, or have limited mobility, you’ll quickly be winded. Not uncommon for European stays, but just something to keep in mind.

My family and I stayed here for NYE - an unforgettable experience with views of the fireworks over the Arc de Triomphe from the comfort and warmth of the living room. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all necessities, helping you feel right at home. The boulangerie at the corner was a welcome surprise as well. Nicolas was very responsive and helpful with thoughtful recommendations. Thank you again for a wonderful stay - very highly recommended!!!

We stayed at Caroline's apartment for almost two weeks with our children (ages: 1 & 6) and it was in the perfect location. We almost felt like locals in a sense that we were not in the major tourists area! The métro, bus, restaurants and shops were all within walking distance. I would recommend her as a host over and over again!

Anne-Laure was a wonderful host! She honestly became a friend during my stay. Stunning and clean place, that truly felt like a home. Whenever I had any questions, Anne-Laure was there to respond! She was so accommodating and covered all bases of my stay. She even found alternative stay for her cat because I’m allergic 🥲. I can’t wait to stay again and would urge everyone to as well! Located in the center of Paris, from the Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris, Tuileries Garden, the Pompidou Art Center all need to walk for about 15 minutes, the room is wide, the yard is very quiet, the only thing that is lacking is that the water heater capacity is a little small, many people need to wait another time to have hot water after taking a shower. It is recommended to wash as soon as possible. Photos in front of the house can be taken in the distance, which makes it easier to find.

Christophe’s place is a beautiful, light-filled haven in the city. Wonderful bakeries & restaurants close by. Christophe was a welcoming, gracious host, easy to communicate with, and very proactive in resolving our internet issue. And Norman his housekeeper was more than gracious when our arrival was delayed. I definitely recommend staying at Christophe‘s!

Very nice house. Thanon and Fred were very accommodating on schedules and very friendly hospitality. My friends and I had a lovely evening. The hot tub in winter is a real plus. The house is very well equipped. Very good stay. It makes you want to come back to sunny days!

Pleasant and relaxing stay in the middle of a wedding….

We all had an amazing stay and loved everything about the villa. There was so much space and had all the basic necessities you would need for a short break. Would definitely book again :)

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It is very quiet in a nice area. With Uber it takes about 30 minutes to get to the center of Paris. The house corresponds exactly to the description. It is very spacious, beautiful and cozy. We filled up like at home. The communication with Matthieu has always worked smoothly. Total a very good experience!

Traveling to Paris for the Summer Olympics was a bucket list event, and finding a place to accommodate six adults comfortably would have its challenges. We lucked out and found this great house in Garches! There was ample space and the layout was great for three couples. Seonhee arranged our car service and met us upon arrival (with croissants and wine) to give us the house tour; she was so responsive before, during, and after our stay, including having her cleaning lady come in after the first week (for a fee)). She prepared instructions/directions and explained how the nearby bus and train systems worked which was very helpful. Even the grocery store is in walking distance making this a real prime location. The only drawback is to be mindful of the low ceilings on the top floor. If you're about 6' tall be aware to occasionally duck. Apart from that the house was great and we would definitely rent again.

Once again, we had a great stay in this house where we like to come back as a family. This time, we had the pleasure of celebrating the Christmas holidays, and everything was perfect: the house is still so comfortable, well equipped and impeccably clean. The warm and friendly atmosphere makes it an ideal place to gather with family. Thanks to Loïc for her always thoughtful welcome and availability. We'll be happy to come back for more unforgettable moments!

Great stay at Detelina's! The house is as described, spacious and bright. We were able to enjoy the surroundings thanks to Detelina's guide to the Chevreuse Valley. I would highly recommend it!
