The apartment is tastefully decorated. It is clean and very well equipped. The bedding is comfortable. The neighborhood, even if in the city center, is quiet. The property was exactly as described and pictured. The location is only 10 minutes from the center of Tours, and very close to many of the most popular chateaux. The unit is completely private, well insulated and very quiet. There is a gate restricting access to the property, so it was very safe. All the amenities are provided, and if they are not on location, Dominique will do everything to provide them. He is a delightful host, friendly, helpful and so accomodating. Having sheep, goats and wild rabbits a few feet away added to the pleasure of staying here. In nice weather, walks along the river are only steps away. Highly recommend.

An extremely idyllic place to stay with a blooming garden and birdsong in the morning. It is really well equipped and tastefully and "real" decorated, not with cheap junk. Everything is easily accessible on foot in the picture-perfect village, butcher (great sausages!), bakery, restaurants & wine bars, groceries. You can also walk at your doorstep and visit winemakers or stroll along the Loire. Would go again!

Julien's place is perfect, new and tastefully renovated. The decor, the living room with that huge barn space, everything makes you feel at home, plus everything is very clean. The land is very large, and there is a nice BBQ space and a beautiful table to be outside. We will definitely come back because it is also a strategic point to visit the castles of the Loire.

Great weekend spent at Anne and Yvon's with our 3 daughters. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos, very functional and very cozy, and the park is breathtaking! The location is ideal for visiting Tour and the nearby castles, and located in a peaceful and very quiet area. Anne and Yvon are lovely and hosted us like friends, go without hesitation!
