What a beautiful home and a fabulous pool , many an evening was spent around it , we were totally relaxed after our stay and would highly recommend Our hosts were really accommodating and vet helpful and at the end of a message and were quick to respond . My family and I had a wonderful stay at Le Shedeaux. It is a beautiful property with picturesque landscape views and it is also close to scenic towns nearby. Paul is a friendly host who was accommodating, helpful and easy to contact. He set up the fireplace for our arrival which made the cottage very cosy. We look forward to returning!

We just spent a week in this pretty semi-detached house, certainly not overlooked, well-insulated house. A very spacious house, tastefully decorated. Absolutely everything is new. Three large bedrooms with good quality bedding and very well protected bedding. Abundant storage (closet in every room in the house). Our children loved the pool, the parents too but it was missing a few degrees in view of the cool nights. Air conditioning is also a plus for this listing. We only used it for a few hours because honestly the house held the coolness very well (knowing that it was over 30° all week). Pleasant surprise also to see in the kitchen: salt, peppers, spices, coffee pods, tea, sugar etc. Quantity of bath towels, no complaints, perfect. In short, I don't have much room to thank Alain for his very warm welcome, he won't hesitate to share with you the wonders to visit in his beautiful region which he speaks about with heart.

A great stay to meet with friends at 13. The cottage is perfectly equipped with plenty of dishes and everything you need to have a good time. The house is large, ideal for making a children's area and a parent nook. Lots of games, things to do, everything to keep vacationers busy. A good address that we recommend and where we will definitely come back

Perfect, perfect, perfect! We have had the most amazing week at Lilac Cottage! Phil & Maggie were amazing hosts, very attentive, and absolutely lovely. The cottage was gorgeous with all the amenities you could need. The pool area was also lovely and private and the selection of pool toys went down a treat with the kids. Maggie was always on hand if we needed any recommendations of where to go to see the local area . Overall a fantastic stop off as part of our mini French adventure. Would highly recommend!

Nice house ideal for couples or small families

Great house, one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in. It has everything you can think of. We like cooking and the kitchen is great. Huge countertop, modern appliances. We traveled with our 3-year-old and our 1-year-old and the house is great for kids. There are lots of toys, a mini trampoline, a basketball hoop, a football goal... We also had everything we needed for the baby: a crib, a diaper changer, a portable high chair... The neighborhood is quiet and intimate. The neighbors are very nice. The swimming pool is amazing. There's also a small garden with tomatoes, raspberries etc. that they let us eat. There's a big TV with Netflix. The internet connection is fast. The communication with Noellie was fast. She was very helpful and responsive. The town is a great base to explore the area by car. Bordeaux is very close. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Sophie (and Craig!) were wonderful hosts and made us feel at home straight away. Given how cold it was they made sure the log burner was lit and going before we arrived, and provided a lovely hamper for breakfast. The setting is idyllic and we enjoyed seeing all the wildlife around us. At this time of year there isn’t a massive amount of stuff going on, but can def see the appeal of the pool and the nearby lakes once the temperatures start to rise! Would happily revisit in the future 🙂

We had a great week at Pauline, Boris and the kids'. We were warmly welcomed as if we were their guests. They are very available, caring, and discreet. The recommended tours and restaurants are worth discovering. Rémy's cabin is very beautiful, comfortable, quiet and very functional. So many good memories. I would highly recommend it.

A very pleasant contact and welcome with Elisabeth and her husband. The house is as described, well equipped, pleasant and in a rather peaceful area, a beautiful terrace to enjoy the outdoors and a beautiful pool. I want to clarify that the pool is not heated and can be rather cold, since this was our case during our stay in early September 2024, the weather did not help to heat it. This is not necessarily a problem in itself during the summer but outside of hot periods, you have to be aware of it.

We had a lovely time in the accommodation. Thuan picked us up from the station. Allowed us to have the place earlier and much later. Very clean, very nice accommodation. a little extra for everything Thuan leaves us available which avoids purchases for a few days. We were able to enjoy the pool which is very nice. Thuan is very friendly. We'll be happy to go back.

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.
