Fantastic property in a great location. We loved how private it felt whilst still only being a short hop to breath taking locations. The pool is outstanding and everything is clean and catered for. If you want to visit a beautiful place, receive a wonderful warm welcome and be sad to leave then this is the place for you!

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

This beautiful Gite was perfect for us. We loved the peaceful location, the well kept grounds and the beautiful pool area which we only sometimes shared with the 2 occupants of the smaller gite. Often, we had it to ourselves. Chris and Debbie were really lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations- from markets to local restaurants. They set up a private chat group when we arrived so they could be on call if required and pass on any useful information. Debbie arrived at our door one day as we headed out for a trip with a cool box, which was a lovely gesture . On another day, she arrived at the pool with a jug of chilled sangria. Their lovely friendliness contributed to our enjoyment of this property. As someone who is often a gourmet buffet for local insect life, the mosquito nets over the beds were very welcome. Our girls loved the grounds, including the swing next to the gite, although the pool made it for them. We would happily recommend it to everyone we know.

Also, although we were not able to meet Dominique,we spoke by phone and message ,she was always very responsive,gave good advice and available when needed! Welcome nickel, Stéphane is super nice, we are quickly comfortable. The house is well heated, the shower is hot and the bedding is excellent. The forest less than a hundred meters away allowed children to have fun in complete safety. Some cooking utensils would need to be replaced... A small detail that didn't stop us from having a really nice time in this house. I recommend it without a problem.

We had a lovely, relaxing and soothing weekend. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, everything you need is there, all you have to do is drop off your suitcases. The jacuzzi is obviously a big plus:) Corinne and Alain are responsive and very kind! I would definitely stay again.

The house was exactly what my group needed! The house was very cozy and comfortable with beautiful views. It offered communal areas for us to work/rest as a group as well as plenty of space to have time to ourselves. The village center was a very short walk away with a lot of wonderful restaurants to pick from. The house had fans in every bedroom which made it comfortable to sleep even with the first few days being on the warmer side. Christine was responsive when I had questions and was very friendly. Would highly recommend! Thank you Christine for a wonderful stay!

We had a great family stay at Sandrine's house. The place is perfect for a family, the house is spacious, very pleasant and very well located, on foot from the city center of Perigueux. I highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay. Marion was very helpful and friendly. Easy to communicate with. Really lovely house, lots of space & character, very well equipped, lots of garden space and pool area. The house is very private, close to town and a good sized super market with in walking distance, although would suggest a hire car for convenience and sight seeing etc. If pressed to make any negative comment, it would be that there is some road noise when outside, we live where there is none, so it was noticeable to us. It would not put us off returning.

A pleasant stay in a nice house, which is situated in a quiet location with good parking. It is possible to walk to the shops, bars and restaurants in the centre of Périgueux.

Our weekend was great! Nelly is very nice, communication is very simple frankly it's very easy! The house was clean, true to the photos, nice, quiet… Perfect for my birthday weekend! Very nice welcome and the pleasure of discovering a festive atmosphere for CHRISTMAS with treats and chocolates as well as a well decorated Christmas tree. SYLVIE had turned on the heater before we arrived.
