Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saint-Jean-des-Piles

Our family stay was most pleasant, it had absolutely everything we needed, and the terrace overlooking the small lake was simply beautiful! What a beautiful peaceful and intimate place! I have never had a faster and clear host to answer our questions than Sophie. A big thank you.

I appreciated that the photos, amenities were representative and accurate to the choice we made when renting this airbnb. The host responds quickly and is very welcoming. My family and I loved our experience and would definitely recommend it.

Jacques was an amazing host. He was very prompt in his communication. He was available to receive us and walk us through the instructions for fireplace, jacuzzi etc. We loved the quiet and warmth of the house. Oh, and really enjoyed his homemade Quebec special maple syrup. I hope to visit again with family.

Our stay of ~15 people was great! Renato was quite responsive - he does have a clear list of rules and fees if they are broken, but we found them to be completely reasonable. Our only few small notes are the living room couch is different than the pictures (it's 2 separate pieces of furniture, not an L shape). Very comfortable and still adequate for sleeping. There's 4 upstairs bedrooms and 2 downstairs bedrooms, but the WiFi does not reach very well downstairs. The sauna is electric, with rocks for adding water, and heats up very nicely. All in all, we were quite pleased. Beautiful location overlooking the lake, we'd definitely stay again!

Jackie's place is very lovely and cozy. We stayed at her place during Christmas time, she added a lot of holiday touch, and it was really nicely done, we enjoyed the atmosphere. The place is super clean, and well stocked. it is a short drive to Dorwin falls and a few snowshoeing trails. the owner is very easy to communicate with, quick to answer questions. We loved our stay, definitely will come back in the future.

One of the best airbnbs I've been lucky enough to stay in. 💯 Everything was really perfect: clean, easy and efficient communication with Marc-André, clear directions for check-in, the accommodation matches the photos and really cute as atmosphere, smart tv always fun too. There's nothing better than enjoying the hot tub after a day outdoors. There were even beautiful Christmas decorations in the apartment!!! Marc-André is a welcoming, responsive and considerate host. Amazing! We had a great time in Grandes Piles! France and Carl are very attentive and have filled the accommodation with lots of small touches! We found everything we needed in this great place. The surroundings are of great beauty (river frozen under the snow) We already want to come back!

A great 3 night stay. The apartment is superb, extremely clean and very functional. Melissa's parents are very friendly. Close walking distance to restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect! Just upon arrival the back door keypad was not working. The neighbour kindly let us know of another way into the front of the building where we were able to access a working key pad for the stay!

great place to stay in Shawinigan! The price is quite reasonable and the place is great. Cheaper, bigger, and more convenient than a hotel room. The host responds extremely quickly to the message! Recommended:) PS: if you don't like very firm pillows, I advise you to bring your own!;)
