Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Jean-de-Sixt

We spent three magical days at Sarah's: very accommodating and discreet host! The cottage is spacious and charming; a real place to relax. We were able to take advantage of the ski resorts (Orelle is a 40-minute drive to the 3 valleys) as well as nearby hikes. We'll definitely be back to the little nest :)

We stayed at Jean-Pierre’s house over Christmas and we had an amazing time. There was lots of snow which made it even nicer. The house is beautifully decorated and super cosy. It has a massive outdoor space with bbq and a fireplace inside. Jean-Pierre was so kind to leave some Christmas decorations for us so we can feel at home and even left some food for us to have breakfast on the first day with a welcome bottle of wine and chocolate. We would love to go back and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay close to Chamonix and Geneva.

Very nice accommodation, quiet and well-equipped. The view of the mountains quickly gives a holiday feel even for a few days!

We really had a great time in Chanaz, Emmanuel's house is really very beautiful, and very nice in summer because the ground floor is very cool! We were very well received, even with a vegetable crate from the garden, a treat. I highly recommend this little piece of paradise!

Feel at home! You feel good from the moment you arrive, it's quiet, it's clean, there's everything to feel comfortable, I recommend it!

The apartment is vey comfy and spacious. Rooms are cosy and the kitchen is well equipped. The only downsides were the fact that the TV was not properly working (at least we couldn't turn it on). As a heads-up the outside balcony can be super slippery with the snow, but Michele was super responsive and helpful anytime we needed.

Edo was an excellent communicator. He was incredibly friendly and he went out of his way to answer questions that we had regarding various issues unrelated to the apartment in an incredibly timely fashion. It was obvious that it was very important to him that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at his cozy apartment. The apartment was very charming and the location was excellent, only a few minutes walk to the city center. I would highly recommend Edo's apartment, especially during ski season. We look forward to staying at his place again in the near future because we enjoyed our stay at his apartment so much. Thank you, Edo!

The stay was perfect! It was easy to check in and out with very clear instructions. The space was clean, comfortable, and cozy! It was exactly what I was hoping for and such a lovely stay. Shekhar was responsive and friendly. I hope to return!

We had a great stay here in Morzine for a week of skiing. The location was excellent, an easy 5 minute walk to the bottom of the Pleney gondola, and minutes from the main square, and shops and restaurants. The apartment is on the ground floor which is a bonus after a long day of skiing. The apartment was very spacious and relaxing. Beds were comfy and kitchen well stocked for cooking. We would definitely love to stay again. The optional extras that mountain extra offer, Ski hire to the door & Lift passes collected, was a real treat, and one I thoroughly recommend!

Good value and lots of space for a one-bedroom apartment. Easy walk to bettex and amenities, and the library is very close by and has free activities for babies and small children.

My stay at Raphael’s accommodation in Les Gets was excellent. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to the main attractions in the area. Ashleigh was an exceptional host, maintaining constant communication and ensuring everything was in order during my visit. As a minor suggestion, having a washing machine on the property would be beneficial for added convenience. Despite this, the experience was outstanding, and I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Accommodation well placed and as described. Easy prior communication with Valerie, and very discreet on site. Very nice chalet where everything is wooden, even the dishes are pretty. Very well equipped chalet, in the heart of the mountains with even goats nearby. We who did not ski were equal distances from Morzine and Samoens, many gondolas accessible to pedestrians including Les Gets (Mont Chery and Chavanne) . Taninges is a quaint little village full of charm and very quiet with its river and small bridge over 400 years old. A change of scenery and calm guaranteed

Wow what a wonderful holiday. We had a fantastic time. The house was lovely with a great outdoor area and pool. It was very peaceful but not far from the town centre (5-10 min walk). There you could find a boulangerie, small supermarket and several restaurants. You could walk to the lake in about 10 - 15 mins. We did not bother hiring a car. Instead we hired bicycles for some of the holiday. We also did lots of walking. It was very hot but fortunately we had aircon in the house. I would definitely go there again. We previously stayed in Annecy but this was more relaxing. It took about 25 mins to cycle to Annecy and you can almost exclusively do this on cycle paths. The hosts were extremely helpful even though they were on holiday in Brasil as we had one small issue with the power that they managed to quickly resolve.

Beautiful home, clean, true to photos. The environment is quiet, nice view. Good bedding Good value for money. I did not have the opportunity to meet the host but he is very responsive, accommodating and friendly by message I highly recommend it.

We spent a week at the end of February with six of my friends. We were very well hosted, in person, by Mrs. Favre. I have received simple and clear instructions on the use of the property and its amenities and am satisfied with the interaction I have had. The house is very comfortable and there is, indeed, no hot water problem. The temperature remains constant even without a fire after the sunset. Amenities work well and the kitchen is provided enough to help prepare small dishes. In conclusion, this house allowed us to have a beautiful week, thank you again!
