We were very fortunate with the warm sunny weather in September so the place looked its best. Spent the time having scenic forest walks, foraging local products, visiting local markets and dining in the only restaurant in the area, the Auberge de Chassignolles, literally a 2 which epitomises 'farm to table' cooking with local natural wines. We were also able to prepare our own food in the small kitchen or make tea / coffee etc Altogether a great ambiance to this little village and a lovely property from which to explore the place and the surrounding area. Great stay - highly recommended!

We came to spend 2 days celebrating New Year's Eve with friends in the Virginia house. We were delighted, both by the warm welcome of our host and by the quality of our stay. The house is very beautiful, well laid out, spacious and beautifully decorated. The garden is very nice and the view waking up to start the new year was sublime. This large house overlooks it. It has a nice view of Clermont and the Puy Mountains. Large living room, beautiful rooms. The pool of about ten meters is lovely. Well located, this house is half an hour from the main summer activities. Easy to communicate with the owner who is very attentive.

We only spent one night at Jean Claude's villa and everything went very well. Jean Claude is an available and warm host. He offered us flexible check-in and check-out times, which we enjoyed. The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated. It is very well equipped and it is a play paradise for young children! We felt at home there. With the heatwave we visited little of the surroundings but the house is very well located in a residential area and very quiet. The pool and air conditioning made our stay very enjoyable. Nice villa in beautiful surroundings, garden is very large and completely finished so the dogs could run around fine. The pool was ok, although above ground as also clearly indicated. The kitchen comes with everything, washing and drying is also possible. There are several indoor and outdoor games, the cellar is fine for rainy days.
