Saari Lokonen - private island & log cabin

It´s always Sunday on the island! Saari Lokonen is a calm private island in the middle of Finland (near Etelä-Konnevesi national park). Rowing boat, two kayaks and a canoe available for free during the vacation. The car must be left on the mainland. Rowing distance to the island 300m Honka cottage built in 1997. Relax at this peaceful cabin with a private beach. The cabin is recently renovated and offers comfortable stay for up to 8 people (max 2 in wintertime). This nearly hundred years old log building breathes history and simplicity, but has been updated to suit the needs of a comfort lover, including wifi, dishwasher and an AC. The property is very private with no neighbours in sight. You'll enjoy wood heated sauna, a big deck over deep waters and a shallow sand beach for the little ones.

Summer cottage by a lake at Mäntyharju

Nice rebuilt log cottage by lake Siikanen. Cottage is electrified and equiped with cold drinking water and warm shower water system. Peaceful beach opening to direction south. Available a small boat and two SUP-boards. At the yard there is a gas grill and an equipment cottage for firewood and eco wc. Our own summer house is near by (at 150 meter distance) thus help and additional services are often easily found. English and German are spoken by the hosts Timo and Tuula.

Small and cozy Ilves cabin with wood heated sauna stands on the territory of the holiday village Fish & Fun. Freshly renovated in beginning of May 2022. There are 9 more cabins and cottages around. The nearest cabin is in few meters from Ilves cabin. The cabin stands on the upper part of the village territory, which is pretty close to the main road. Ilves consists of kitchenette with dining area, bathroom with toilet and shower, living room and bedroom.

The garage is naturally hand-built from nearby parties. The hut is a warm hut with amenities on a cliff amidst nature and forest animals. The terrace overlooks the lake about 4 km away in the direction of the sunset. The space is perfect for a couple and very good for a small family. Big patio around the house. Part of the patio glazed. The barbecue hut is also glazed, and the ceiling. Your own well water is drinkable.

Varila, renovated in 2020, is a wooden cottage fit to accomodate small families. The surroundings of the cottage are in undisturbed, natural state with spaceous view to Lake Saimaa. The surrounding pine moor is perfect for backpacking and berry or mushroom picking. location is very private no neighbor is sight. excellent place to go fishing. cottage has an ecological toilet in a separate building

In summer there is a lake and bike paths, in winter there is alpine skiing! The cottage is located 100 meters from the Laskettelukeskus Friski ski resort. The nearest supermarket, gas station and other shops are in the center of Ruokolahti, 5 km away. The city of Imatra is 15 km away.
