Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sai Thai

This home was great, away from town but can easily get into Ao Nang beach within 15 mins. Didn't use the hot tub as it was hot out as it was. Host was easy to talk to and spoke very well English, even gave us a contact for scooter rentals. Overall I would stay at this place again if I was ever back in Ao Nang.

It was great staying at Khimhan’s place. He is a lovely person. He answers all my questions on a timely manner, he was understanding about checking in and out. His pool is nice and clean: highly recommended!

We just spent two amazing weeks at Melinas Guest House near Krabi, Thailand, with our family, including our three children with partners and six grandchildren. Having the entire resort to ourselves created a special atmosphere for our gatherings. The staff at Melinas Whale Bar were fantastic, providing exceptional service throughout our stay. The location right on the beach, with stunning views and breathtaking sunsets, made for unforgettable moments as we enjoyed sundowner drinks while the kids swam in the sea. We highly recommend Melinas Guest House for a fantastic family vacation and can’t wait to return!

Very nice apartment, with a magnificent view. But too bad it's hard to access. Pretty steep slope.

We had a great time at Sébastien's place. The house is very nice and has all the amenities to feel good. Good bedding, nice pool and very beautiful garden. Sébastien is always available and has very good advice to help you discover the region in the best possible way. I warmly recommend it.

Sarat is a wonderful host, she helps with everything she can, has valuable tips in stock and is always available. We extended our stay twice and stayed in a total of 3 bungalows. There is everything you need, the kitchen is super equipped, in the bedroom is a super working air conditioner. The entire complex is well maintained and quiet. Sarat runs the complex with her aunt and uncle, both of whom are also super sweet, you feel like home and everything is very familiar. We stayed here with our 12 month old daughter and would come back any time. The perfect base for exploring the surrounding area! You can get everywhere quickly by taxi or by grab app and we never had problems with transfer.

We spent 5 nights in this beautiful house. The house is very clean and cleaned every day. The communal pool is very beautiful with mattresses and games. We were able to book scooters with the host. The accommodation is about 10 minutes by scooter from Ao Nang Beach. We had a very nice stay . Thank you

We have stayed at many Airbnb’s and nothing has compared to the view over the sea and islands. The space is perfect for 2 couples and we loved being outside the city but on the scooters it was an awesome ride to local bars and restaurants. Go to Monkey Bar and Crazy Horse and Lookout Restaurant in the mountains, must visit spots for a casual fun time. Chap, the host is absolutely the best we have ever had, he was endless with great recommendations and setting up our day trips. Highly recommend this villa

Nim and David were wonderful hosts, super helpful and accommodating. House was fantastic, plenty of space for kids to run around and play. Fabulous grounds, the creek was clear and clean and we did lots of swimming. Nims cooking was delicious. AC in bedrooms was brilliant. Was difficult to get a taxi into town but David and Nim very helpful and made themselves available to help with lifts to the beach. Meeting the otters was a highlight and our 5 year old was thrilled to cuddle one and get a kiss from her!! Excellent place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle! Easy 30 min walk up to the view point near by. Would definitely recommend! Thank you so much Nim and David 🥰

It was really nice to be in the nature, having coffee on the terrace watching the beautiful view of the oceans, the mountains and the islands. Really felt like being part of nature and staying in a more real community than something like a resort. The home itself was very mindfully decorated and had the needed amenities. You could tell that Adul had put effort in making it a nice place to spend time at. Better tv and speakers, espresso machine etc than is expected for a place like this that would "just" be for renting out to other. The location requires a vehicle. If you are adjusting to the local culture of scooters then this is perfect since there is a scooter on standby available to rent already at the location. Check in was very easy, the housekeeper greeted us at the gate of the yard and showed us around. The pool is a nice spot to cool off in and also enjoy the views. Adul was very responsive and genuine. Can highly recommend this stay for others that want some peace.

I 100% recommend this place! The staff are very friendly and helpful! The place feels like home. The beach is very close, beautiful and pretty empty. If you love a countryside vibe, you will definitely appreciate this Airbnb :) hoping to go back next year!

Our group of 4 enjoyed a lovely and peaceful stay. The villa has a beautiful view of the water. It’s a good choice if you’re looking for something off the beaten path with fewer tourists. We also took a boat to the island directly across for one of the most memorable seafood restaurant experiences of our trip. Communication with staff was adequate and friendly. The place felt clean and tidy and had working air conditioning and ceiling fans.

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean. We used the terrace the most, you’re surrounded by beautiful lush greenery. There’s one toilet + shower and a separate shower, A/C in each bedroom. The host recommended the restaurant accross the road and we ate there everyday - great cheap thai food.

We felt like home in Ecovilla and had a wonderful time in the bungalow. Loved being in nature, taking a dip in the creek every day. Swimming with the otters was the highlight for the kids! David & Nim are the best hosts ever! So attentive & helpful! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! Missing Ecovilla already and can't wait to come back one day!

Pom's apartment meets all of our expectations. It was sparkling clean. Pom helped us book taxis and suggested things to do. In addition to speaking very well in English, she is fluent in French. If we were to return to Krabi, his apartment would for sure be a prime spot within walking distance of the beach, a 7/11 and a multitude of delicious restaurants for unbeatable prices. We stayed here for two months. By the end of it we felt like family. What a find. A real gem outside of the busy main area of Ao Nang and nestled in the rubber plantation. We were very sad to leave this perfect little paradise. Thanks to Funta, Sumet, Jai, Wood and their family’s for having us x

I had a wonderful stay at Rinrapat’s place in Ao Nang, Krabi. The location was perfect, close to the main attractions and yet peaceful enough for a relaxing getaway. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, providing everything I needed during my stay. It's difficult to over state how much we have enjoyed our time at Lux Family Villas. Mr Ivan and the whole staff have been so very kind to us. For a family of four that want a clean, well maintained, relaxing, friendly, good value place to stay... this is it. We used this as a base for a 4 week climbing holiday. It is close to the mainland climbing spots, and only a short (free) shuttle ride from Ao Nang beach. You can book discount trips through the accommodation, and Mr Ivan has some great local food recommendations. There is a supermarket in upper Ao Nang (Lotus Supermarket) that the shuttle can take you to for self catering. Huge thanks to all at Lux that made our stay a real special time that we will remember for a very long time ❤️

Wayne was a tremendous host! Our family stayed for an entire month and he was extremely helpful, friendly, responsive and helped with everything/anything. He helped us get a rental car, recommended great locations for food and activities. Truly was the most accommodating host I have ever rented from. The house was excellent. Surrounded by plants for privacy with the pool out front at a perfect temperature. 7 minute drive to the beach, close to grocery stores and there are restaurants walkable nearby. I highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here again next time we come to Ao Nang. Thanks again Wayne, appreciate everything!

Beautiful place!The villa is very clean and comfortable. The host is communicative. We stayed there for one week and really liked it. Great location and quiet. It’s only 6-8 min drive by motorbike to the main streets. Super convenient. Highly recommend.

this place is absolutely worth it. it's not bang on aonang beach but it is still very accessible if you install grab. as for the host, she is one of the finest hosts I have encountered in my global travels. she was our tour guide, and was spontaneous on every account. booking this villa is a no trainer. if you find it, book it.
