Well appointed kitchen, loads of spices, cooking utensils, oils. The house was very clean and comfortable. The mattress in the primary room is heavenly.

We enjoyed our stay at Mike’s Place. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed to prepare meals. The location was beautiful but was close to dining and shopping.

Great house. Game room was super fun. Lovely spacious back yard.

4.84 out of 5 average rating, 158 reviews🇺🇸 NEW HOT TUB! American River- Deck, Yard, BBQ 🏖
Cameron’s house is very convenient and had what we needed for a family of 5. Everything was clean and functional. There was a coffee maker, and the hot tub was actually hot. We didn’t use the living room or kitchen much, but everything we used worked. Having two bathrooms was helpful, and the door code made entering and exiting easy. The beds were clean and the blankets were warm. My only critiques would be that the mattresses were not the most comfortable and the thermostat was a little tricky to use. Would stay there again.

My mom and I really enjoyed Kelly's home. It was easy to find, had plenty of street parking and a driveway. We had a well equipped kitchen with condiments, water, and all your cooking needs. Kelly was also very communicative, letting us know that there would be someone coming by to clean up the yard and they would have access to the yard, etc. We really enjoyed staying here and felt right at home. I would highly recommend Kelly's home for a long or extended stay. Thanks Kelly!
Home in Citrus Heights
4.89 out of 5 average rating, 177 reviewsKing Suite: 4 bed 3 bath, heated pool/spa & games
We stayed there for an early family thanksgiving dinner and the place was perfect for the kids. So many activities and games for them were available. The hosts also saw that we had a toddler and they put up the fence around the pool. Very thoughtful and we appreciated it a lot. We highly recommend this place!

Condo in Davis
4.5 out of 5 average rating, 12 reviewsLovely 1-bedroom apartment with pool and gym
Mony's place was very clean and beautiful. It is located in a charming housing complex, and is a few minutes walk to a shopping mart and various restaurants. The complex has a gym, which made working out during my stay very convenient. I'd be very happy to stay here again on my next visit.
Condo in Folsom
4.9 out of 5 average rating, 143 reviewsExecutive Penthouse Historic Folsom, Ca.
This was a beautiful penthouse located in a great area with lots of restaurants, bars and stores that are easy to walk to. Great host that responded quickly when needed.
Condo in Downtown Sacramento
4.92 out of 5 average rating, 109 reviewsWalk to Arena , Capitol , river ,free prkg, DoCo
The location was great-close to the Kings arena, State Capitol, Old Sacramento, and other downtown attractions. We had a minor issue about parking our vehicle but Robyn responded quickly and helped us resolve the issue. The place was just like the pictures and we had everything that we needed. There is some street noise but it is a downtown area so it is to be expected; it did not interupt our sleep at all.
Condo in Central Sacramento

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Austin’s place! He kindly recommended some coffee shops that we ended up visiting and was very pleasant to communicate with. Would gladly stay at his place again!

Condo in Roseville
4.74 out of 5 average rating, 39 reviewsCharming condo offering comfort & convenience
Apartment was as described in the listing. Very functional and comfortable stay. Easy to communicate with Susan and the place feels very safe given the location. We were in the area visiting someone at Sutter hospital so the location was ideal, right around the corner. The bed was a bit soft for our tastes, but in reading reviews there's as many folks commenting it was perfect as there were commenting that it was soft so this obviously is a personal preference.

Gingers place is lovely and so comfortable. Our church choir sung at the Citrus Heights community center which was only 7 minutes away. This place is amazing. Clean. It was great to come relax at her place after a long day at the church convention. If you book here you’re going to love it!
Villa in Loomis
4.95 out of 5 average rating, 193 reviews6 Acre Estate, Heated Pool, Spa, -YOLO!
If you’re looking for an incredible “experience stay” this is the place! Built to entertain family and friends, all who walked through the door felt immediately at home and in awe of this property. We didn’t want to leave!!! Some family genuinely wished it was for sale! While the photos are stunning it still doesn’t do the incredible scale and comfort of this property and home justice. No detail was missed! I hope we get the opportunity to stay here again in the summer but it did make an ideal luxury rental for Thanksgiving. Thank you Kolesar family!

Our family had a wonderful and relaxing time! The space was amazing in and out! Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Everything was organized and streamlined. Our stay in Loomis was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. Any questions we had were answered right away with Lindsay offering their assistance on the holiday, which is above and beyond. The setting is idyllic with enough space for everyone to do their own thing if they so choose. Thank you Lindsay and Peter…….your beautiful home was a highlight of my families Thanksgiving and gave us all the opportunity to spend our time together in one place.

Your guide to Sacramento
Welcome to Sacramento
Smack-dab between San Francisco and Tahoe, and cut through by two big rivers, California's capital and oldest incorporated city embraces its rural past while rushing headlong into the future. Fortune-seeking Gold Rushers have been replaced by suit-wearing political strivers, but somehow this town has maintained an affable, unpretentious vibe. Upscale boutiques and farm-to-table restaurants dot the Grid — a network of numbered and lettered streets in the city center — while wooden sidewalks and historic buildings define Old Sacramento, where nostalgic kitsch rules the day.
The capitol building’s distinct copper dome dominates the Sacramento skyline, but its interior may be even more impressive, especially the 128-foot-tall ornate rotunda decorated with cast-iron grizzly bears. After touring the building, visitors pour forth into a forty-acre Victorian garden. In recent years, the dome has gotten some competition as visual mascot for the city, as Sacramento has gained recognition as a public arts hub with more than 700 murals. All of this is served among a booming craft beer and restaurant scene, concentrated in Midtown, making Sacramento an under-the-radar gem nestled in the sun-dappled environs of central California.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Sacramento
Thanks to its central inland location, Sacramento enjoys hot, dry summers — perfect for tubing on the American River or gawking at the scores of migratory bats that cluster under the nearby Blecher-Freeman Memorial Causeway. Fall and winter are cooler, with winter being the wettest season, which also ushers in bouts of notoriously dense fog. Spring is mild, and a perfect time for strolling streets lined with budding trees.
Top things to do in Sacramento
Railroad Museum
Visitors are invited into a different era at this museum that is home to 19 carefully restored steam locomotives and other grand vessels that once navigated the state’s vast rail network. You can also explore a 3,300-square-foot display of 1,000 vintage toy trains zipping past doll-sized mountains and towns. Complete your experience by hopping aboard a gondola pulled by a vintage diesel engine for a round-trip excursion along the Sacramento River.
Crocker Art Gallery
Like Sacramento, this art museum is a marriage of the past and the future. Installed inside a historic circa-1872 Italianate mansion, a bold modern addition was opened in 2010. The Teel Family Pavilion — a modernist expanse of clean lines and glass — tripled the size of the museum. Inside you’ll find a vast collection of Californian art, European paintings, and one of the largest international ceramics collections in the nation. Swing by the store to shop wares made by local artists.
Sacramento History Museum Underground Tour
Back in the mid-19th century, the youthful settlement of Sacramento was frequently flooded by the nearby river. The solution? Abandon the original city, and build on top of it. Later, excavations unearthed the subterranean city, and now you can descend below the Sacramento History Museum with tour guides dressed in period garb to explore an underground ghost town.
