Little Home (with 2 floors) for long term renting

VivianRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed at Jin's lovely home for four weeks, and it truly became our home away from home. The two-story house is cozy and comfortable, providing everything we needed for our extended stay. The location is ideal - situated in a peaceful, green area that offers a tranquil retreat while still having all necessary amenities within easy reach. The house is well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time there fully. Jin is an exceptional host. Living next door with her charming family, she was always attentive and ready to help whenever we needed anything. Her warm and sympathetic nature made us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay. Overall, our month-long stay was amazing, largely thanks to the comfortable accommodations and Jin's considerate hosting. We would happily recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a homey, peaceful and authentic stay in the area.

I think I found a second home in Phuket. Pamela is a very friendly and warm host. We stayed at the villa for over 3 weeks and our stay was amazing also because of Pamela she was super sweet and helpful. She would go out of her way to help and be there when ever we needed. Honestly I am going to be coming back again and again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and safe beautiful decorated place to stay this is perfect!

Great little apartment with work area & outdoor kitchen. The garden was a feel-good oasis and the surroundings were super nice. On the way up there are a few nice cafes and also to the city it is only a 20-minute walk away, 5 minutes by scooter. It is especially worth staying there for longer stays. I also worked remotely from there and when the wifi went out, the host was looking for a way for me to still be able to work:)

DoevenRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Great home! Rented it for 20 days. Clean. Neat. House as described. Great view on 2nd and 3rd floor. Nearest mall will be a 9-10min walk to villa market. 7-11 and big C are also about 7-8min walk. Host was extremely helpful, responsive, accommodating. She made sure we had all the necessities and she even went the extra mile and bought us a rice cooker, broom and mop. Cleaning is once a week and fantastic job every time. Overall, fantastic experience. Great home, great host.

Your guide to Thailand

Welcome to Thailand

From bustling Bangkok to captivating Chiang Mai and lost Lampang, Thailand offers a rich tapestry of experiences and landscapes for travelers ready to journey off the beaten itinerary. The country is a foodie destination, with every restaurant and home giving ā€œclassicā€ Thai recipes their own special twist, plus a well-loved street food scene. Shoppers indulge in designer stores in ultra-modern malls alongside floating markets and night bazaars, while photographers can fill countless SD cards with shots of glittering temples, lesser-visited ruins, lush forests, and vast historical parks.

Visitors often love Thailandā€™s festive nightlife, from Bangkokā€™s clubs to Koh Pha-Nganā€™s Full Moon Parties. History buffs will be fascinated by Thailandā€™s rich past and vast array of architecture, from modern working temples to the picturesque ancient ruins of Siam. Luxury lovers and adrenaline seekers are equally at home in the friendly country known as the Land of Smiles. Five-star rooftop bars and world-class spas call to some, while others skydive, zip line, scuba dive, and rock climb to their heartā€™s content. Explore this well-traveled and world-renowned destination with every kind of tour imaginable, by bike, bus or boat.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Thailand

Thailand has high temperatures and humidity year-round with plenty of sunshine. The country essentially has two seasons: a dry season and a rainy or monsoon season. Weatherwise, itā€™s best to book a villa for the dry season, between November and March, which is the peak time for visitors looking to enjoy up to nine hours of sun a day. The shoulder seasons, from April to early June and late September to October, can offer pleasant weather and fewer crowds. April and May are the hottest months, whereas the months of June through October receive heavy rain, although showers pass quickly, still allowing for plenty of daily sunshine. For diving and snorkeling along the southwest coast, November to February is the best time to travel for clearer conditions and calm seas.

Top things to do in Thailand

Historic City of Ayutthaya

The former capital of Siam is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating from 1350, itā€™s a hybrid of history and architecture, with its myriad colorful temples rising resplendent above the tree canopy. Take in enormous reclining Buddhas, golden statues, and stupas reclaimed by majestic tree roots.

Chiang Rai

In the north of the country, Chiang Maiā€™s somewhat sleepier and slightly less-visited sister city, Chiang Rai, holds its own magic: the intricate and fascinating Wat Rong Khun. The modern White Temple is an architectural marvel, blending pop culture with religion in such an unthinkably delicate structure it requires a whole day to marvel at.

Lampang and the Unseen Temples

The ā€œUnseen Templesā€ ā€” (albeit seen by more than a few people now) ā€” nestle in the heart of mountainous Lampang Province. Take a tour for mountaintop views, unrivaled peace, and a peek into the ancient past. The town of Lampang is worth a stop, with its famous traditional teak buildings and modern street art in the local market.
