Vacation rentals in Shigawake

We were a work crew staying there to do work in the area and the employees felt like they were at home.

Angela’s house is just as you see it in the pictures. The beach is great and literally in your backyard! The sunsets are incredible. The house is massive with a big kitchen ideal for groups and big families. The house is very well equipped and furnished with a thought for every detail to feel at home. It actually feels like a friends home you would have borrowed, that’s how homey it feels. The only downside like other comments mentioned are the bloody mosquitoes who will eat you alive after 5.00pm. It might have been nice to have a protected outdoor area. Also, if you’re picky with the taste of water, this one tastes a little bit like lake water. We had a great stay at Angela’s and we would all highly recommend the place to friends and family!

WoW I have no other word to explain my beautiful home stay and an amazing and really house all included there was nothing missing wow 😁

It was such a lovely home. We enjoyed it a lot. We slept well in the comfortable bedrooms. And the living space was great for us. We did a lot, despite the weather! We loved the Veloroute and will go back to do more of it. It was fun for us, especially the boardwalk (that we could cycle) at Shippagan. Also, we had never heard of the Acadian Historic Village and it was well worth a visit. We went to the Miscou Lighthouse, walked the Miscou Bog Trail, visited the "Candy" Church, and just had a great time with our friends from Ontario.

We were in town for hockey provincials great spot to stay with everything you need.

Impeccable place. The layout of the bedrooms upstairs means you can't hear what's going on downstairs. Great when some want to sleep while others continue the evening! We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the place! We'll go back for sure! Perfectly furnished house for a good group of people!

We had a very pleasant 5 days at Lise's cottage. I know the area very well and our choice of Caraquet was what we were looking for for the quality of its restaurants as well as the warm welcome of the population. There is a good choice of very interesting activities to suit all ages. The cottage is very comfortable and the location is perfect. The sea view makes the place very relaxing. We will definitely go back when we return to the area if it is available during our next stay. / Nous avons passé 5 jours très agréables dans le chalet de Lise. We had a great time in this apartment. The place is clean, well decorated and as in the pictures. We really appreciated the little touches left by the host (coffee shop, local guides, etc.). Communication was also great: fast and warm. I would 100% recommend!

The cottage was absolutely lovely and exactly as illustrated in the pictures. I am very picky about cleanliness and this place passed with flying colours. The location is stunning and quiet yet very close to town with all required amenities. It was the perfect place to relax and begin my exploration of the VeloRoute bike trail system. I will certainly stay again and bring my bike and kayak 🙂. Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience.
