There are many restaurants nearby, such as ramen shops and izakayas, and a convenience store nearby, so it was very convenient. The amenities were also plentiful. The room was clean and very comfortable. I was able to watch YouTube on the TV, so I wasn't bored. Thank you very much.

Futamigaura coast a 3minute walk!

MadiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Toriko & Miyuki’s place in Itoshima was so beautiful! An amazing old house with some updates and lovely design. The location is perfect with a shortcut to Futamigaura and some restaurants by the beach. Toriko and Miyuki were so kind and accommodating, and I enjoyed talking with them (even though my Japanese isn’t good)! Everything about my stay was easy because of how well things were communicated by Toriko and Miyuki. I loved using the pellet stove and the loft bed. It was amazing to wake up early and have coffee on the porch and listen to the birds with the sakura tree in view. It was like a home from a studio ghibli movie in a peaceful neighborhood! Would absolutely stay here again if i could. Thanks so much Toriko & Miyuki!

whole house rental: japanese style house near sea

SeraphinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The host was very nice, considerate, and communicative to us. The house is beautiful and is a nice experience to see what its like to live in a quiet and peaceful Japanese neighborhood. It would be easier to have a rental car with you if you want to get around the area and Fukuoka quicker, but a 10-minute walk to the closest station isn't too bad either. Would recommend!

Absolutely perfect place to stay while in Itoshima! When I used to live in Itoshima, I visited this property before but it was a whole different experience to actually stay on the property and sleep there! Me and my family enjoyed the spacious home, the great amenities, and the beautiful views as well. This home is incredibly stunning. If you want to experience a Japanese home while still living similarly to what you’re “used to” as a foreigner, this is the perfect place! Conor is a great host and is always super responsive, we had no problems at all! He really does go above and beyond.
