Linda's house was perfect! The house is nestled into the hillside with beautiful properties surrounding it. The furniture was exceptionally comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with any cooking items you needed. The house is a quick walk to Mirror Lake to access everything Lake Placid has to offer.

This place is peaceful, beautiful, a gem. I loved hearing the water from the sundeck (porch with windows): looking and hearing the water, feeling so close was a balm and beauty. For those seeking rustic beauty, you cannot do better. The home is well set-up: cozy, stocked, inviting. The sky is full of stars, the tide comes in and out, the woods are just there. David's local recommendations were also outstanding, making us feel like visitors welcomed personally. We followed several of his suggestions at an easy pace: and so soaked in the quaint Brooklyn, WoodenBoatSchool, and gem-of-a-library. It was autumn with some rain, some cool, great beauty always. In other weather we might have done a campfire or bbq. Lovely seats outside. There were more places to sleep than we imagined there might be: it was just my teen son and I, so we didn't even go to the loft. This is a cozy cabin on the sea, with exceptional grounds and a good soul for host!

We had a wonderful stay in this home. It provided us easy access to Smuggs and the surrounding area. Kaylee and Emmerson are the best hosts we’ve ever had…. Hands down!!! They made our stay so simple, easy and relaxing. The home was perfect for our 7 person Christmas getaway. I highly recommend booking if you are looking for a Vermont Mountain vacation. Their home offered us everything we needed.

Loved our stay! Incredibly clean and quiet. Even more beautiful than the pictures. Location was fantastic. Incredibly close to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Hot tub overlooking the pond was definitely a highlight.

We had a fantastic family time. We enjoyed the fire place, hot tub and good pizza after a full day hiking in the Adirondack! Leslie and Chris were proactive and even started the pizza oven for us! Thank you for this peaceful, relax and healthy weekend!

The pictures don’t do this place justice - beautiful place with an amazing view! Very clean and comfortable! Very convenient to everything in the village. Highly recommend - we will certainly return!
