Yzerfontein Boat house
We had a fantastic 3-night stay at Dave's place and highly recommend booking. It was our first visit to Yzerfontein and, based on our overall experience we'll be visiting this part of the west coast again. - Dave is an excellent communicator and sent lists of things to do prior to our arrival + remained in contact during our stay. - The accommodation was very impressive and comfy with all necessary amenities + we loved the Scandinavian decor. - The hot tub was our go-to on chilly nights and during the day we walked with our dogs straight onto the magnificent beach from the house. - We shopped at nearby Vita Nova deli, had breakfast at Darling's Marmalade Cat (Dave's recommendation), bought Darling cellar wine, relished the sight of the incredible Fynbos and were thrilled by giraffe, camel and ostrich sightings. A big shout out to Dave for being an understanding host: One of our dogs unexpectedly soiled his rugs and he handled the incident with kindness and generosity - thanks Dave!

Antibes Camps Bay
We and a very nice time at Madeleine’s place . It’s about a 15 minute walk from the camps bay beach , in a residential area. The garden and the view from the balcony are very beautiful . I recommend the apartment to anyone else .

Sunset Apartment, Arum Place Kommetjie Beach House
The apartment exceeded our expectations and Michelle and Lorenzo were great hosts. The views, location and the amenities provided were excellent! We couldn’t have asked for more. We were travelling with our one year old and they provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We wish we had booked extra nights as we didn’t want to leave.

Noordhoek Beach Villa - solar back up electricity
Excellent hosting and communication. The area is quiet and a couple minutes drive to a beautiful beach. The house is in good shape but could do with some minor improvements in a few areas before the next season but overall didn't hugely impact our stay.

Luxurious home living with pool.Walk to beachfront
We had the most fantastic time at Villa on the Bay. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids aged between 2 and 8. The house was perfection for us and we had the ideal mix of relaxing and exploring Cape Town. The house has three bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs and a nice wide staircase between the two floors that is easy for small kids to navigate. Location is close enough to pop to shops and eateries in a few minutes on foot but just far away enough to be in a quiet street. We took Ubers everywhere and never had to wait more than a few minutes. The pool is solar heated so our kids spent hours playing without getting the shivers. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need incl a coffee machine and ice maker. I could go on about small details but my point is that the house is amazing and we would definitely come back. Camps bay is so stunning!

Paradise in Camps Bay:Luxury Villa with Pool&Views

Patty’s place is stunning! The house is spacious and very comfortable. It is in a lovely neighborhood and safe neighborhood. Patty is a fantastic host and pays a lot of attention to detail in all she does. She also really spoilt us with delicious treats on arrival and goes the extra mile to make her guests feel comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back when next in the area.

29 Hampstead Rd. 2 Bedroom House with Garden
We had a wonderful time! Enjoying morning tea on the garden patio was a highlight, and the well-equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze. The neighbors were incredibly friendly, especially with their delicious Christmas biscuits! Plus, being close to local shops was super convenient. A big thank you to our exceptional host for making our stay so relaxing. Highly recommend! 🤩🙏

Beach, Mountain & Pool side home - no loadshedding
Our stay was absolutely lovely! The house offers a beautiful view of Hout bay Harbour and Beach. You can easily and safely walk down the street to the beach, to the main road. We stayed as a family with a 2 year old child and had a wonderful stay. The equipment in the house was sufficient. The location is quite windy but that is Cape Town and Hout bay. Carrie was a great host and offered all the help You need. Thanks again!

Beautiful home with everything you need and more. We had our 3 year old and was perfect as living space is open plan and you can see into the garden too. Would definitely stay here again x

Palm Spring, a Mid- Century gem in Cape Town
It's not easy to find the proper words for this ever so beautiful accomodation. We came to Capetown for running the Marathon and we couldn't have imagined a more wonderful place to stay. Not only has Jo's house the best location (just a short walk to the start line), but it also is the most fantastic place to relax (before & after running a Marathon!). Jo's garden is a place of heaven. Sitting there on the porch, enjoying the light breeze, the sun, the fresh air, hearing the birds singing, smelling all these beautiful flowers ... this is life at its very best. And eventhough you feel so secluded, you are still in the middle of everything. Restaurants, cafes, grocery-stores are all in walking distance. Inside the house, everything is so carefully selected. It radiates pure calmness. We loved the well stocked kitchen, the bed with its soft linens & the selection of books. Last but not least, the bathtub with a view to paradise 🌸 Thank you, Jo, for sharing your gem with us.

Luxury Open Plan Family Home |8 Sleeper|4 Bedroom
This house will not disappoint! I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The home is spacious, sparkling, an organizer's and entertainer's dream, comfortable yet with high-end finishings. You can expect to find that this home will easily match your expectations based on the photos. We are Canadian South Africans who lived in Cape Town 20 years ago. We wanted a space to bring family together. Taryn's home provided that and more! Even though it wasn't quite warm enough to enjoy the pool, it was well maintained. We certainly enjoyed the outdoor space by the pool, sipping our morning cappuccinos. We had so much fun playing table tennis, enjoying a braai and chatting in the spacious living room. The home is centrally located for seeing all the sights but neighbourhood dogs barking sometimes disturbed the sleep for light-sleepers. Even though all bedrooms are upstairs, we appreciated having a full bathroom on the main level for the less mobile family members in our group.

Family Home on Southern Cross Drive
Deirdre was an attentive and excellent host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there . Lots of garden activities for our grand daughter and a great location.

Gorgeous Clifton 5 bed villa on 4th beach
An absolutely gorgeous house right on the beach. Everything was perfect - the sound of the waves crashing at night, the warm swimming pool and comfy beds, and last but not least the gorgeous views. Would highly recommend; Allen was a great host and we were looked after very well by Amos every day too.

Charming Villa - Mountain Views
Lovely home with good facilities. Very clean and well equipped. Over all a great stay

Five Star Villa with Housekeeper, Pool, Jacuzzi, Gym, Sauna
This Camps Bay villa is the perfect place for a relaxing but luxury stay. The location is perfect for access to Camps Bay (and the whole Cape Town area) restaurant scene, not to mention the fabulous wine farms and spectacular beaches and scenery. I’d recommend staying here to everyone- but I sort of hope it’s just there for me!

OttawaPalms Villa with Housekeeping

Fantastic house in a fantastic location. Perfect for our family. The house had everything that you would need. The views are amazing. We would definitely return to this place.
Villa in the Vineyard near Somerset West
Lalapanzi and the Skaap House provided an unforgettable two-week retreat for our family of seven. Nestled in stunning natural beauty, the lodge offers breathtaking views that truly felt like a dream. Waking up to the serene landscape each morning was a joy. What truly sets Lalapanzi apart is the opportunity to walk among zebras, springboks, bonteboks, and wildebeest within the game reserve – a magical experience we cherished daily. The warm hospitality and friendly, responsive staff made us feel right at home, and the proximity to fantastic restaurants, wineries, and various outdoor activities was a bonus. We can't recommend Lalapanzi highly enough for anyone seeking an idyllic South African escape.

28 Break-Away, Castle Rock Cape Town Luxury Villa
Simone's place was amazing with great views and all the creature comforts of a home. Great linen and towel quality. We had a fabulous time. I would recommend this house for a large party. You will need a vehicle as it is not in walking distance to any stores or restuarants. Lovely and peaceful and quiet.

Tweede Nuwe Jaar, or Second New Year, happens every year on January 2 and is one of the longest-held festivals in the city, which sees the capital turn into one big carnival with parades, dancing, and traditional music. It’s a celebration of freedom and hope and continues to educate locals and tourists alike on the area’s history.

There are a variety of trails up the mountain that vary in difficulty. But the easiest, fastest, and arguably most scenic way up is via cable car, which will have you soaring high above the rocky valley, with the sea on the horizon as you climb to the peak.
Wander Kalk Bay
This seaside suburb is beloved for its trendy cafe scene, quirky vintage shops, and English-influenced restaurants to grab a bite.
