House in Margate with a Pool

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a very enjoyable stay. The aspect from the pool, and the pool itself was an absolute highlight, being beautifully clean, lovely lack of chlorine. I swam multiple times a day. Overall the house was very comfortable with a lovely deck, the green and quiet surroundings and a comfortable beds. The ceiling fans and aircon kept any excessive heat from being unpleasant. We would LOVE to stay here again. Thanks to Kirsty for providing such a wonderful stay.

Chill Camp Hill

JackiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay! We stayed for 6 weeks while we sold our house and bought another. Tracey kindly let our pets stay after a few reasonable questions and responded very quickly to any queries/comments we had. For example, we mentioned that a few of the clothesline ropes had broken and the whole rope was fixed in days. This location and home was perfect for our needs as a short term home where the whole family (2A, 2C and 2 pets) could feel at home during what was quite a stressful period. It was as also very convenient for travel to schools and the city during peak hours. The desk got an absolute workout with gamers and people working from home and internet was never an issue. If you have a dog, there are a couple of nice dog parks close by to wander too, to get the energy out. We stayed in summer and the Aircon was much appreciated by the British members of the family. It is on the cosy side but a cute place and great access. Thanks for a great stay Tracey!

We had a lovely week at the town house. We only used the shared pool once, the weather was not in favour, but it is close to the town house. Location is quiet and the neighbours were all friendly. Off street parking for our family to visit was great. Comfortable beds and lovely linens, heaps of consumables. Easy access to nearby shops and not too far from town.

We loved staying in Cait’s Airbnb. It’s super walkable to the cbd, but still nicely private and tucked away. Cait was also an incredible host, very friendly and helpful - especially with check-in! Was the perfect base for us while we were in Brisbane.

Breezy Blue on Bribie

CristenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was our second stay at James and Mette's place, and we had a great time yet again! Perfect for a family with a little dog. The local area is quiet but the house is still within walking distance of the bayside waterfront and the local shops (Woolies etc). This time around we had a lot less rain than our first visit, and we enjoyed a BBQ dinner under the festoon lights on the back patio. The cottage has had a lot of love poured into it, and it's perfect for a low-key but very comfortable beachy holiday :)

Stay in a Homey, Restored Queenslander Cottage

LeelaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Warm, comfortable and oddly familiar, Thomas Street, is like visiting your grandmother. The house is lovely ode to the once traditional "Queenslander" home, perched high up on the hill with stunning views, but also tucked away enough to be very private and secluded. The house is well appointed with everything you need for a long stay. Lots of cutlery, dishes and cooking equipment. Generous rooms sizes, a modest and functional bathroom, an open plan kitchen and a lovely front veranda, perfect for watching the world go by. Just like the photos. Jo the host was lovely and kind. Very responsive to our needs. Thank you for hosting us.

Pet friendly family home

DavinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We are incredibly grateful to John for providing us with a home when we needed it most, after the ex-TC Alfred left our house uninhabitable. His kindness and generousity during such a challenging time meant the world to us. From the moment we arrived, John welcomed us warmly and ensured we were comfortable. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. A truly fabulous host and a fantastic experience—thank you so much!
