Vacation rentals in Balsam Lake

Very cute and well furnished house. It was a block back from the main uptown street, so very walkable (5 minute walk to some bars and restaurants) without having to listen to traffic. I was also even able to rent one of those Lime scooters from downtown Minneapolis and scoot back to the house in like 12(?) minutes. I had a great weekend and would stay here again

We had a great time staying at this cabin for a girls weekend getaway! It was somehow even nicer in person, super private with a gorgeous view of the lake, 2-3 cozy living room areas, comfy bedrooms, and the fun tire swing & hammock! Great location close to downtown Stillwater. The kitchen was perfect for our group since we love to cook, and the breakfast nook was a fan favorite.

The perfect, private getaway while not being far from town. I’ve been coming to Siren every year for nearly 30 years to visit family, but have never experienced it like this before! You’re only minutes away from all necessities, but just far away from it all. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need or think of for adults and little ones too. There was plenty of room for everyone, including a few extras who came to hang out and celebrate the holidays with us during the day, and the Christmas decor was the perfect touch as well. I can only imagine staying here during the warmer months with all of the outdoor activities you can do right on the lake, steps from the backdoor. Will definitely be looking into staying here again for our next visit!

What a wonderful place! My Bookclub rented Wendy’s beautiful property for a long weekend of reading, relaxing, and hanging out and it was a wonderful space. Great to gather together to cook, play games, or just chat. It also has lovely views of the lake and a fantastic hot tub. The cabin was honestly even more beautiful than the pictures and very clean. Wendy was responsive to any questions we had. We all hope to come back in the future!

Our stay in South St. Paul was absolutely perfect! There were so many wonderful amenities, especially with having a 21 month year old. There was a door to the upstairs we could close and plenty of toys for her to play with and we didn't even need to bring her pack n play which is great when your flying! The house was beautiful and I absolutely loved all the decorations around the house. The house was very clean as well. I would 10/10 recommend staying here if your in the area. Nice neighborhood and plenty to do! I will be staying here in the future when I visit family here.

Riverside retreat is a the perfect getaway for some quiet and relaxation. The cottage is furnished with everything needed for a peaceful getaway. The views of the river were incredible. We definitely love this place.

Despite this being the 2nd year in a row without snow, we had a great time at this cabin! The space was perfect for our extended family. We enjoyed hiking on the trails right outside the back door. We had them all to ourselves! The fish fry at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. The pool, sauna and work out room were fabulous! I highly recommend this place.

A beautiful cabin with modern furniture and decor — we really loved our time here. Beautiful views, peaceful, relaxing and just what we wanted to ring in the new year. Comfy beds, lovely hot tub, and all the kitchen amenities we needed. We enjoyed checking out Cumberland as well. We made spa appointments and ate at the local restaurant/bars. Stephanie was very responsive and I would highly recommend. Would love to come back in the summer.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's home! The home was so spacious and well equipped - perfect for our group of 8 adults. Sarah was very communicative and responsive. We really enjoyed the beautiful views of the property - the hot tub was also a bonus! We also did the short drive to Stillwater for shopping and restaurants.

Mary’s place is great for a large group, and the location is stunning!! The kitchen is fully stocked and is one of the best airbnb kitchens I’ve seen! The town has limited options but is cute and close enough to the twin cities. The house has so much space, but the basement room is definitely more crammed and not as great as the upstairs ones. The beds are all very firm, but it is overall an amazing house, highly recommend!

Our second time in this cabin. Outstanding hospitality and amazing view. Right on the foliage. Beautiful, peaceful cabin close to stores and restaurants. Owners go a mile ahead to make your stay feel like at home. Love the place and will book again.
