My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was absolutely a beautiful location and every window had amazing views. Waking up to seeing the mountains to going to bed seeing shiny stars from the window was awesome. The cabin was well stocked and the decor to how it was laid out were perfect. It was a great romantic getaway. Check in was easy and Kyle and Seth were responsive to any questions I had.

This is a peaceful place to stay. The stars are beautiful at night. Deer came really close to the house in the morning. Great communication. Clean and beautiful home!

This property was by far the best experience I’ve ever had while traveling for work! From the peaceful environment to the beautiful views. The amenities of this property are incredible. Will be booking again anytime I can!

This cabin has the coolest location I have ever stayed at! So private, peaceful and beautiful. Everything was as described, a bit on the rustic side but was a lot of fun. We refrained from using the shower or hottub, but everything else was very clean. Reed is a great host and we had a lovely time!

Wish I could give this place an extra star. The area is just gorgeous. The hiking trails, zip line for the kids, yard games and gas fire pit made us never want to leave the property. We spent mornings on the porch drinking coffee and watching dozens of hummingbirds bulking up for migration. Lots of room for our kids, their spouses, and grandkids. It was magical. The owners are just lovely people, and super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They treated us like friends. We’d all love to go back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning cabin in Colorado! From the moment we arrived, the cabin was spotless, and it was clear that the host takes great pride in maintaining the space. The hot tub was a highlight, extremely clean and the perfect way to unwind after a hike. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed like plates, bowls, pots, pans, you name it. It made cooking our meals a breeze. The host was also fantastic! Very responsive and communicative throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth experience. Overall, this cabin is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Colorado. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

This is a large house with lots of room. My family really enjoyed the Pac-Man, board games, kites, side walk chalk, hot tub, and all the space to walk and enjoy God’s beautiful creation. We also really appreciated the stocked spice cabinet and the black stone on the porch so we could cook our own meals, and the snacks left for us. It felt homey and cozy, would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area. Thank you so much for everything!

The cabin was a perfect getaway place for our Thanksgiving weekend. The property was beautiful for hiking lovers like ourselves and truly a dog lovers dream! We are forever grateful to Joe for helping us when our vehicle got stuck in the ice, he came out and made sure we were safe and sound! The stars were bright and beautiful, the trails on the property were well maintained even with the snow fall, the amenities provided was everything we needed for our weekend stay. The cabin was amazing! It was clean and cozy and the foliage was beautiful. Edward was very responsive and friendly.

My family and I loved the place it was a nice Christmas Eve gathering with the family sad we had to leave one day early do to the weather and not having one of our vehicles be 4x4 but sure plan to come back in the e future in summer.

The house is absolutely gorgeous. Even nicer than portrayed in the pictures. Mollie really goes the extra mile to make sure her guests are happy and comfortable, and her hospitality is one of a kind. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, the living room is warm and welcoming, the beds are comfortable, the outdoor is stunning, there are games for the kids to enjoy and the coffee station is a real treat. We enjoyed our stay so much - I think the app should have a sixth star on its rating for places like this!

The cabin is in a great location, with beautiful. Cabin itself was beautiful, well furnished, and clean. We had three of us and our dog, and the cabin felt spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. Host was very responsive although we didn’t need much after we checked in since everything was well thought out. Would love to stay here again if we have the opportunity.

This is a great spot for a private, quiet getaway. The views are amazing. At night you can see the beautiful night sky and the only noise you hear is nature. Will absolutely be staying here again. Chris checked on us, but gave us privacy. He gave us some farm fresh eggs and vegetables, and brought extra water for a our pups. Great location, and great host!

Nice little spot, quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. Host was super responsive and helpful. Appreciated the metal baby gates you can put in place for both upstairs and downstairs because we had a toddler. Overall, place was really clean as well, comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing getaway in this private, beautiful cabin. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook and have dinner (which we did) including spices which was very helpful. We felt right at home. It was fun to walk around the property among the Aspen trees. The wifi was spectacular and very fast. We couldn't have had a better time. Hope we can return in the future.

There are not enough 'Allowable characters' in this box to describe how magical the location is. The cabin is tucked away in a meadow with aspen trees twinkling gold, Evergreens towering, and the mountains whispering freedom and peace. The space has character only something build with love overtime could have. Every direction you look is a visual treat. If that was not enough, the space is filled with ever amenitie needed to cook a fantastic meal, enjoy a good night sleep or be entertained without leaving. Fun games, books and movies sprinkle the space. If you are like me the fenced yard for our four legged family members was a real plus. If dogs are not thing the patio is amazing looking out over the yard and you wouldn't know by the inside that pets are allowed. The hosts are amazing and attentive. Definitely book NOW!

This place is everything we expected. The views of the mountains are breathtaking. My family had the time of our lives. A 15-minute ride to the creek is well worth the drive. If you are looking for a secluded mountain getaway, this is it!!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Pond House for our first anniversary trip. Derek and Suzanne were responsive, friendly, and overall great hosts. The Pond House itself was spectacular. Small, but comfortable and clean, and if you're spending your time inside, you're doing it wrong. The surrounding area is secluded and private, offering 360 mountain views, peaceful mornings on the porch, and ample wildlife. The pond is beautiful, and immensely enjoyable with provided paddleboards and loungers on the dock. Public BLM land is accessible right off the property for hiking and exploring. Canon City was a quick, scenic 20 min drive away for great food. The absolute highlight of the trip was Tilly, our fetch-obsessed tour guide who hopped on our paddle boards and came along hiking. 10/10 would book again, could not recommend it enough.

This was our second time staying here and we are in love. Suzanne is aways quick to respond and accommodate. Beautiful house with just the right amount of space for our family. Already planning our next two visits!

Chris was very helpful ensuring we knew what to expect prior to arriving. Answered any questions we had and even sent a video making sure we knew how to make it up the driveway! We had a great time and the cabin worked perfectly for our 2 families! We come to Cuchara every year for family reunion and will definitely try to rebook for next year! Thanks Chris!

This was our family's 2nd stay at this property, and we wouldn't hesitate to book it again. The location is very private and secluded, with beautiful views everywhere you look. You're only a few minutes from Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Park, and about a 30-ish minute drive to the hot spring pool. The house is quite large and provided private spaces for each of the 5 of us. The large kitchen has every amenity. There is a "no shoes inside" policy at this property, which is not an issue at all, and the carpet and flooring stay clean. The roads in the neighborhood are not paved, and are perfect for taking long walks where you might spot deer, rabbits and dozens of hummingbirds.
