Vacation rentals with a kayak in Rutherford County

We are avid vacationers & own vacation rental properties & this is THE BEST place we have ever stayed !!! The layout of this lake house is incredibly thoughtful for an extended family like ours (6 adults & 2 children) ;; the Kitchen is the centerpiece of this property & when not down at the lake in the Adirondacks, we spent most of our time at the table & island - we cooked half of the time & found the cookware to be accommodating for us. The views are magazine worthy - especially from the comfortable living room with its sweet fireplace. The views continue through to every bedroom in the house as well - and every single bed was incredibly comfortable & linens were spot on - the owners provided plenty of water toys for all of us as well life jackets for our littles !! You won’t be disappointed by choosing this property as your next lake retreat !!

We absolutely loved this place! It’s truly an amazing break from your everyday work week…. Kiddos loved being near the water, using the canoe and kayak, catching their first fish and enjoying the hot tub under the stars! The home is gorgeous, nestled in the forest but you’re still close enough to grab groceries and try out some lake restaurants. Super clean, organized, stocked with everything you need! Hosts were awesome, very responsive and super friendly! One of our new air BNB favorites! We will definitely be back!

The location, cleanliness and spaciousness of the home was perfect. It was our first Lake rental that ever felt like home and we could live there. The kids absolutely loved their time. The provided amenities were perfect for the family. The hot tub was unfortunately unusable during our stay but it was able to be fixed by the time we left for the next guest. We told our friends who stayed around the peninsula from us all about how perfect it was and we couldn’t recommend it more. Definitely give this home and hosts another look!

Celeste was a great host! This was my first time renting an airbnb and she helped me every step of the way in have a great first time experience. Very grateful for her communication in finding the place and very welcoming home. I enjoyed every bit of the stay and would gladly rent again. :)

What an amazing place and awesome host! Right in the cove of the lake with plenty of privacy. Coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon on the deck overlooking the lake was quiet and relaxing. Our highlight was definately the paddle-boat/kayaks. We went out almost every morning; and paddled over to the pool multiple times. The kitchen was very well stocked with spices/herbs/teas/coffee and we grilled out almost every other night. We'll be rebooking and coming back to visit without a doubt!

We loved this house! The lake setting was beautiful and the house was so cozy! They even had everything you could need to “move right in”… shampoo/body wash, every kitchen item you need, stocked fridge, serving bowls, games, blankets, so many EXTRAS!

The house was awesome couldn’t have asked for a better place. We will stay there again next year. If you want to stay at a great place by a beautiful lake and beautiful creek this is the place.

Wonderful getaway for the family! The kids had the adventure we wanted away from the city. We had zero allergy issues, a few of us have allergy and asthma challenges and this home was clean and allergen free for us! We spent most mornings with coffee and either board games or exploring, the days on the lake with the kayaks and canoes, then nights around the fire with burgers and s’mores. Wonderful place for our family of 5. Thank you!

We loved how you felt right at home ,when walked in the door. The dock had plenty room for everyone to fish,and fish were biting. My friend's granddaughter,she 7, caught her first lg.mouth bass, reeled it in all by herself . We loved the outside fireplace, screened in porch plenty parking..Gayle was so quick to respond and so nice ,helpful.. We defintely plan on staying again. Lewis and Banks family

My daughter and grandson loved the place, the host was so friendly and easy to communicate with. Very responsive. The place was really cute and charming, and they loved that the host had even put up a little Christmas tree to welcome them. Wonderful stay!! Thank you so much

The Cabin was beautiful and wonderful place for a group of doctors to gather for an annual meeting. Alberto was really wonderful about accommodating our group when our previous reservations fell through at the last minute. I would highly recommend staying here. Hard to find a more beautiful location and spacious, private place to gather.

Peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Felt right at home during my stay. And the bed and couch were so comfy! Hope to be back soon!

Our family had a wonderful vacation, we felt right at home! You can do as much or as little as you want in the beautiful surrounding mountains! It was a perfect fit for us!

Meagan is a fantastic host, and her house is beautiful. We enjoyed all the provided outdoor toys on the river; which pictures do not capture its beauty! Beyond being extremely clean, the house has everything you need to make meals, enjoy the hot tub, and make smores around the fire. Unloading and packing up is a breeze using the lift. The location is private, but the town is within a 20-minute drive. I highly recommend checking out this place!!!

Peter's place was a wonderful base camp for my extended family visiting from overseas. They requested a mountain cabin vacation and Peter's place was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, shuffleboard, the amazing sectional couch and the well stocked kitchen. We were able to grill and cook feasts for the family! It was fun to explore the property behind the cabin, and the private lake beach and river access were the crown jewels of amenities. The Cabin was within reasonable driving distance to Lake Lure Town and Chimney Rock. Thank you Peter for a great stay!

Absolutely lovely property, we felt so at peace with the beautiful scenery. The house was as described, fully stocked with everything we needed. The spacious deck was an ideal spot to gather with family.
