A haven! I highly recommend booking your stay with Jill and Peter and I only wish I could have stayed longer. The location is so special and beautiful. So much love has gone into this property and you feel it the second you arrive. A highlight was lounging in the jacuzzi under the stars and then enjoying a peaceful night’s sleep. Jill and Peter are absolutely lovely and they are fantastic communicators. Their dog, Meg, is also adorable. Thanks for the hospitality, Jill and Peter! The stay was unforgettable!

John and Anne's property is beautiful with an abundance of birds. We felt much happier staying in Harrietville over Bright and the bigger towns in the area. A fantastic base to head off and explore the Alpine.

Sarah was a great host! She responded quickly and friendly, let me know everything I asked in a timely manner. The house was amazing! We enjoyed the bath and the tranquility of the environment. It couldn't be a better trip for us to stay at Sarah's place! Their dog Cooler was VERY friendly, but well kept within their property area. The starry night sky was fantastic to watch while we were there.

WOW – What an incredible stay! I had a special and meaningful weekend planned with close friends, and our time at Victoria’s Barn exceeded every expectation. From the stunning views to the spacious interiors, everything was perfect. The kitchen and dining area were equipped with everything we needed for a big group dinner – not to mention how picturesque it all was! The location offered quick access to town, plenty of space to relax and unwind, and we were even treated to the company of so many kangaroos – a magical touch. Victoria's communication was flawless. She provided a clear breakdown of bedrooms and bathrooms before our arrival, which made planning for the group seamless and stress-free – something I truly appreciated. If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a large group or family gathering, immersed in nature, Victoria’s Barn is it. Beautiful memories are guaranteed here. An excellent location which suits the needs for large groups of people - everyone was able to have their own space across the three floors while also meeting in comfortable communal spaces to hang out together. A great space with a lot of personality and a very responsive team - we lost power during the stay and the Bright Escapes Team was very quick to answer our queries and link to resources to help us out. A short distance from the town made getting around and engaging in what Bright has to offer very easy, but if you're walking or riding be aware that there are two very big hills leading in and out of the property. Would definitely stay there again, a great space for a holiday.

The unit was clean as recently been updated, with everything you need and close locations to shops and easy access to everything.

Was a lovely place to stay and felt so homely you walk in and there put home made fresh bread in bread maker and welcome chocolates so nice, love they keep it so original brings back so many memories stuff you see around the house and host is lovely we will def be coming back to stay

Breakfast provisions left were thoughtful and covered just about any fancies, the bottle of wine and Tim Tams welcome. The cottage is well furnished, towels and sheets excellent. Privacy guaranteed. Surprisingly the mud brick construction did not make for a cool interior - thank goodness for the 2 air conditioners that soon had things under control. The showers were large and there was plenty of hot water.

From the moment we arrived at Nicole's place, we were absolutely delighted. The home was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully maintained, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. One of the highlights for us was the fantastic yard, which provided plenty of space for our two dogs to enjoy. The location was ideal—conveniently central to everything we needed, yet surprisingly peaceful despite its proximity to a main road. We were so pleased to have found a place that was not only clean and comfortable but also pet-friendly and reasonably priced. Our stay exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nicole’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Barbara is a super host, with perfect communication and hospitality. The location is ideal for spending quiet time in the bush. She gave perfect directions to Bright, where people usually get lost as the tracks could be confusing. The experience was unforgettable. Barbara went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless. Her detailed directions to Bright were a lifesaver, especially given how confusing the tracks can be. What a stunning place with beautiful surroundings and views. The house felt like a home! It was clean. spacious and comfortable! The outside sitting area with the overhanging vines, was amazing and created an relaxed ambience and opportunity to enjoy breakfast together! We would like to thank Sarah and the family for enabling us to spend a lovely, restful weekend with our friends staying in an amazing location! We would love to revisit in the future!

Juliana is a friendly, thoughtful and generous host. She gave clear instructions for entry. The space is bright, clear and relaxing. It is a simple and roomy space inside with views across the farms and countryside through large windows and a covered verandah to relax on in front. It was great base for visiting the wineries of the King Valley Region.

Charmaine’s house was lovely and incredibly clean, with lots of nice personal touches. She was very responsive and helpful leading up to and during the stay. I would definitely love to stay here again next time I’m in the area!

Peter and Jamie are lovely and friendly hosts. They booked a table for us for dinner our first night and were as available as we needed them to be and were also respectful of our privacy. The accommodation was exactly as described and it was lovely. The grounds were beautifully kept and we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. I couldn’t rate them more highly. Special mention to Djinni for being a beautiful girl and letting us pat her.

Sue and family were great and the house was also amazing. Being from central Sydney it was nice being out and away from the city life and Sue's place was the perfect way to celebrate that.

The property was easily accessible, neat, close to the main part of town and close to Lake Mulwala. The host was both friendly and easy to work with. Response times to questions were quick. We enjoyed our time at the property and we couldn’t be happier with the property, the location and the host. I highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to Yarrawonga.

Three couples booked the home to attend a friend's 70th birthday, which was in the same street, so the convenience was fantastic. We had a three night stay and loved the home, it provided great accommodation, verandahs for relaxing and the pool was amazing in the hot weather. We were able to walk to local shops, cafes and restaurants so didn't have to use our car at all. The home provided everything, we only needed our beach towels. Thanks Gabrielle for a great weekend, we would recommend your home to others.

This place was stunning and utterly relaxing!! Me and my girls were away for a few days in summer and it was perfection; the pool, the view, the space, the beds, the amenities, even the DVD collection! Kay was incredibly responsive, especially when it mattered most (when I locked myself out of the house 🤭). The kids are already begging for us to go back and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Lumley House. It was spacious, clean and a great location . Close to town and views to die for. Linda was very friendly, accommodating and quick to reply. Would happily stay here again!
