Vacation rentals in Runaway Bay

Our stay at Robert’s place was very nice. It’s not too far from many of the activities we wanted to do in Fort Worth but it was also great to escape to a location with a beautiful view of the lake, a bit of space, and awesome view of the stars at night. My wife and I enjoyed our long weekend here.

The house was perfect for our stay in Fort Worth —lots of room for a big family to spread out, beautiful view of the river and within 15 minutes of everywhere we needed to be.

House was clean and had everything we needed for our family vacation. We had no problems or issues throughout our stay. Rooms were just as described. Great location to fish on Eagle Mountain Lake and explore the DFW area without feeling like we were in the city.

Our stay was awesome. The place was the perfect size for a couples retreat. The high fenced back yard was private so we could really enjoy the refreshing pool. Close enough to downtown Fort Worth and all that this amazing city has to offer.

For my two night stay and all actuality I stayed one night because I ended up not staying the second night. It was cold and rainy so my granddaughter and I did not get to enjoy the outdoor firepit, bbq and nature. Which I was looking forward to. Although I’m glad my brother ended up not going with me with his two sweet Doberman. Oscar’s place would have been too small for all of us. All in all I would stay there again.

We went up to celebrate my fiancé birthday.. surprised us with a sweet birthday balloon! Our intentions were to disconnect from our phones and work responsibilities! Relax and enjoy each other’s company… and we did just that!!! We were hit with a bit of bad weather and he was so accommodating and even allowed us to make up a bit of our lost activity time. Beautiful views, quiet and peaceful! Yummy coffee and a very nice surprise mimosa set up in the fridge waiting for us!

We recently stayed at Lilly's place and had a pleasant experience overall. The location was fantastic, being close to the convention center, which made it very convenient for our activities. It was a bit noisy at night with sirens and other city sounds, but nothing too disruptive. The place was very clean and well-maintained. It had all the necessary linens and towels, which was a nice touch. The layout was practical, with the main living areas (kitchen and living room) and the bedrooms primarily on two floors. The steps didn't bother us at all. Parking in the garage was good, although it could be a bit tricky when cars were parked outside of the garages on the end. There is a donut shop on the corner that's very convenient and was good! Get there early though, they do sell out quickly!! Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

highly recommend! Great quite and relaxing place in the country. Juretta was a great host. Had no issues with check in or check out. She was quick to answer any questions. would gladly stay again.
