Vacation rentals with a patio in Rukatunturi

A cool and spacious log cabin with a well-equipped kitchen and a fireplace that creates an atmosphere-the area is peaceful. About 10-15 minutes drive to the slopes of Ruka, depending on the slope.

The cottage was cozy and comfortable, in a good location. The grocery store and ski slopes are a 5 min drive. The house was clean and modern, with all necessary appliances, cookware, dishes, etc. The host was very responsive. In fact, i texted her on Christmas eve to get instructions on how to use the washer and she got back to me within an hour. I was very impressed. Generally, she was very informative, both before and during our stay. Great place. I would stay here again!

Lovely cabine! The host is very helpful and friendly! Quiet spot with a convenient location! If you want a few days of relaxation this is your place! The interior of the chalet has very cozy with a stunning view.

Staying at Kiekerönmaa was absolutely amazing, not only due to the accomodation itself and the nature but also thanks to Hans who was the best host. In the beginning we struggled with locking the doors but after Hans explained it to us we got used to it and everything went perfectly fine. The second thing that took some time getting used to (mainly due to the low temperatures) was having to step outside to get to the toilet (as specified in the description of Kiekerönmaa). Other than that Kiekerönmaa didn't only fullfil our expectations but went far beyond that and seeing the aurora borealis standing on the shore of the lake in front of it led to our vacation being truly magical.☺️🌌

I loved everything about this house! As soon as I entered, I felt like I am in a snowy dream! The view around the house, the frozen lake, snowy trees, I’ve never been in a place like this before. If you wanna have a cozy time and far from the crowd and have some rest, this place is the one. I am pretty sure the house is just as mesmerizing in the summer times.. We stayed 3 nights and first night we even saw auroras, even though they weren’t too powerful:) Also we didn’t have a car but with taxi everywhere is reachable. Thank you Heidi!

We have had a wonderful stay at Martti‘s Appartment and would definitely recommend it! It was just beautiful and right around the corner of the Ruka Ski Resort.

We now had 1 week as a family of eight in this cute house. It was really very nice. We really enjoyed the nature, the aurora lights and everything around it and highly recommend it for a family vacation. The communication with Matti was also wonderful, we are very grateful! We were very comfortable for a week, Tania was very helpful, loving, kind, she welcomed us and explained everything to us in detail, she helped us with everything we needed. The house is very clean, very well equipped with everything, the location is very good, we will definitely return.

The skiing trip went smoothly despite the freezing weather, clear driving directions and good communication, excellent value for the cottage!
