Great location, good price/quality. More spacious than in the photos. Close to the slope, slightly walk to the slope. The charging of the electric car was traded as an additional service for 15€/day, which dangerously encourages full power to remove- from the box that has not been made for that purpose (suko box). Of course there was an opportunity.

The accommodation was nice and quiet. The place is clearly and correctly described. Saija responded quickly and kindly and was clear about entering the apartment. I would definitely recommend this

Nice Block House cottage with big chimney and Sauna.

Very good stay. The host replies quickly. Easy access at any time. Location is ideal literally in front of the ski slopes. Apartment is good, you can park right in front. Don't forget your bed linens and towels as it's not included, and you need to clean everything when you leave as there is no house keeping. We were aware of it (it's mentionned on Airbnb page so it's not a surprise). That's how you get a good price for an apartment in front of the ski slopes and it's worth it! Will stay again if we come back.

We had a great stay, the place is perfect and has everything necessary. There were some minor issues with finding the house, wifi has not worked perfectly all the time but other than that - it's a wonderful house surrounded by nature, quiet and peaceful. The host was always responsive and friendly, we also had some troubles locating the trash cans, but the host replied promptly and helped us find everything we needed. We would definitely visit again.

Very nice apartment! I have been stayng a lot in different palces in Finland in last 4 years, this apartment was for sure best quality for the similar money. The owner responded qucikly and was flexible! Highly recommended!

Comfortable and cosy apartment in "Finnish wilderness style". It is only a short drive by car to the trailheads of Oulanka National Park. The hosts were very helpful and pro active in sharing their information. I enjoyed my stay here very much and can recommend it!

Good location nearby Ruka village. Peaceful place. Building is newish, very neat & functioning. Wifi password didn't work with any of the visible wifi networks & wifi network was not specified in the house book.

I used the accommodation for work travel and the big car fit well in the parking spot. It was nice to warm up my own sauna at the end of the day. Thanks again to Heenka for responding quickly and for clear instructions. I can recommend to others too!

Perfect location for our ski trip to Ruka! Easily walkable to the slopes across the lake or catch the ski bus :)

Beautiful lodge! Very cosy! We loved the sauna and hot tub in the freezing temperatures of winter!

We stayed at Esa’s house as a group of 4 adults and had the best time. Communicating with her ist great as she is very responsive. It is great that both bedrooms have their own bathroom. And you also have a third bathroom downstairs right next to the sauna. A real highlight was the jacuzzi, we used it every day. Also there was more than enough fire wood, other places had only 5-6 pieces of wood “for free”. The only thing we would have liked to be different is a separate sauna towel. Everyone had one small towel and one bigger (in our case for sauna and showering. But overall we really enjoyed our time and can warmly recommend to stay with Esa.

This apartment was amazing. We really appreciated it. It is very modern and clean and very close to the nature. All the furniture and equipments are very high quality. I was happy for the car charger. My wife really enjoyed the fireplace with a lot of wood. We were lucky, because we saw the Northern light from our bed. The Ruka’s ski resort is also nice. It is highly recommended and we would like to come back in the future. The apartment is much better than what you see on the pictures. Thank you for everything!
