We had a great stay at this property. The house is spacious, very bright, and impeccably clean overall, with a peaceful atmosphere. It’s also well located, making it a perfect base for exploring nearby hiking areas like the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and other trails. The space is ideal for a group of 6-8 people, but it’s worth noting that the kitchen fridge is quite small, more suited for 1-2 people. Additionally, the bathroom showers could use a bit more attention in cleaning. We didn’t get a chance to use the spa, as we were busy hiking during our stay, but it’s a nice feature for those looking to relax. Overall, it’s a great place and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

We loved our stay such a great little community filled with lovely people. The house was perfect from the layout to the amenities and most importantly safe and secure for our young children and animals. Great playground across the road and of course the beach. We would love to stay again for longer next time.

An awesome stay! The house is a really nice house down a reasonably quiet and peaceful street. The spa pool was a great addition after a day on the snow.

Dave is a great host, a very proactive communicator and super helpful. Used his place to stay while we did the Tongariro crossing and what a great place to recover than on the deck, in the hot tub with a drink. The house is in a great spot.. just a couple of mins drive from the main township and a very short walk from some restaurants and walkways.

This is an excellent place—I would say even better and more beautiful than the pictures suggest. It is modern, clean, warm, well-equipped, and really big. There were just four of us, but I think a group twice as big could be comfortable there. The spa pool was a wonderful feature. Thank you for hosting us, Lindsay!

Plenty of space for our age ranges 13-85 yrs young. Lovely communal dining/living space. We didn’t use the deck/bbq as we were busy elsewhere but that will be a lovely space and private once the new garden beds have matured.

Fantastic place, lots of space and had everything we could possibly need. My only wish is that we had stayed longer!

Lovely and kind host. Lovely house. Easy booking. Great at communicating and very prompt. The spa was an added bonus. Highly recommend.
