From your loft bedroom overlook beautiful rolling pastures. Take a stroll on our walking trails or through the woods on the 41 acres, read a book, sit around your fire pit, soak in the private jacuzzi, or head 6 miles to downtown for some nightlife. We do offer a tour and interaction with the animals for an additional fee and scheduled time.

This two bedroom, one bath scenic cottage sits on approximately 250 feet of waterfront where you have a lake view from the huge screen porch. An open floor plan with fully furnished kitchen, beds, and full bath will make this an exceptional getaway. Nestled deep in the forest and secluded in nature, don’t forget your bug spray. The lake is accessible via stairs plus timber steps with no handrail. Water depth at dock is shallow.

Built in 2004 with 3 bedrooms (master on main floor, two on second floor), our home is located on a pointe that has spectacular views with a secluded feel. Our yurt (30' dia.) is rustic, beautiful, quiet, in deep woods with deck overlooking pond. Great for couples, small families (not childproof). Includes hot tub & Poetry Walk. Beds are futons. It's warm June-Aug. (no A/C, plenty fans), but way cooler than the city. It's cold Nov.-March (wood stove heat). Mini-fridge & microwave (no kitchen/plumbing). Bath-house is 2-min. walk (toilet, sink, shower). Two minutes to Saxapahaw. Read description for more info. SERIOUSLY NO PARTIES. And no dogs.

Radiant heat. AC. Mini fridge and microwave, electric kettle, Chemex coffee maker, homemade granola, excellent wifi. Unique space in one of the best country neighborhoods around. 6.5 miles to Hillsborough healthy grocery store, 8 to Carrboro/Chapel Hill, 18 to Durham. Serene pond and grounds.
