Incredible home! My family and I stayed here for my wedding. The house was immaculate. Easy to get into the house. Felt safe and secure. Beautiful house and great price. Heather was amazing and so helpful!

Great, responsive and accommodating host. Very nice, homey place to stay in fire island and enjoy the beach. The house is also very close to the dock for the ferry and water taxi.

Carmen's place was just the right size for our grown children and our grandchildren to celebrate our annual Family Christmas. The four bedrooms were perfect, the kitchen was just the right size and the fenced in back yard was helpful to blow off some energy of our young grandchildren.

Our stay was lovely. Hope to stay again!

Excellent stay! Hosts were responsive and very helpful. The house is absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. The location is perfect and we had a wonderful time. The place was amazing. I spent here one week with my wife right before the Christmas week and we felt at home. We couldn't ask for a better host. Arthur was extremely reactive, very responsive, flexible and prepared the apartment with some very nice Christmas decorations. We did enjoy our time. I strongly recommend this place and I am sure I will visit Arthur again in the future!

You will be surprised to be able to see the sunrise from your bedroom, have cocktails on a little beach on the brackish Shrewsbury River with windsurfers trying their luck, walk to Bahr's seafood resto or Proving Ground tavern with good beer and food and views -- great location and quiet at night and interesting to watch clammers ride out in their little boats in the morning.

We came over to New York for a 1 week holiday, where one of the options was this AirBnB, and after looking around we ended up settling with this one. Bill has been a great host, always proactive and quick to respond when there was something we didn't have. the Airbnb itself is as described, comfortable for 2 people. We were concerned that it might not be worth enough given we visited in December, though thankfully there is a good central heating; the additional heaters weren't required, but the heated blanket was a nice touch. Lovely locations nearby, and we actually spent half the week just staying in Oceanside as everything was a walking distance away. Getting into Central New York City is best done by walking 20 minutes to Oceanside station, and taking the LIRR straight in. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit NYC. We'd happily stay here again if we visited NYC again.
