Vacation rentals in Roper Mountain

What an amazing cabin tucked away in the woods, Patty and Jack have thought of everything to make this vacation as cozy as possible. The cabin is just as advertised, if not more beautiful. The property feels very secluded and was perfect for our family of four. The two teenagers loved what they referred to as their own apartment on the bottom floor as they played games and laid outside in the hammocks. We tried it all....the onsite trail down to the river, toasted marshmallows by the fire pit one evening and enjoyed the hot tub. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen as we brought our own groceries to make meals and everything we needed to cook with was provided. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a personalized welcome sign (nice touch), a basket of snacks and some drinks. Patty was very responsive through the Airbnb app, provided detailed directions to get to the property, made finding the cabin and arriving very simple. We will definitely stay here again, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great home! Our family of 8 had a wonderful time in town from Florida for our son’s wedding, the openness of the house allowed everybody to hang out together. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet! The host was constantly in communication for anything we needed.

If you are looking for a low key place to relax and enjoy the outdoors , this is the place for you !

Larry and his property were so wonderful. I came as the only adult with 4 girls ranging from age 9 to 17 and I believe they loved it every bit as much as me. Larry talked with the girls and let them know where they were able to explore and what they could have access to. Our plans were to hike and hunt waterfalls, but bc of the fires, two of the parks were closed so we have to change plans. Larry was very helpful with suggestions. When we needed and couldn't find the air mattress, Larry was quick to answer and help out. The property was just so wonderful and I'm grateful for our time there.

Very helpful and responsive. Made sure I made it safe and even volunteered her husband to come help me with the hot tub if needed.

We had a great time here. The location was perfect, very walkable to downtown. The loft was extremely clean and had everything we needed.

Five stars! We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay. The cabin was cozy, clean, and full of thoughtful touches. Loved the hiking trails behind the house (if you head to the left you'll see an awesome waterfall!) and saw deer and even the white squirrels! Great location—close to town with charming shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

We are so thankful for the time spent at the lake house. We live only 30 mins away but had a major issue in our house that caused our family to move into the Airbnb for 3 weeks. The lake house is very comfortable to stay in. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor decks, although it was very cold during our stay and we did not use it much. The neighborhood is super quiet. The neighbors were very nice. Overall would totally return if we need to.
