My husband and I originally booked a unique Sphere cabin (Grassy Creek) for our anniversary, but after severe wind storms caused structural damage, Carolina Mountain Vacation Rental went above and beyond to help us find a new place immediately. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring we still had a fantastic getaway. We ended up staying at Grande Vue, and it was absolutely perfect! The property was beautiful, well-maintained, and had stunning views. It truly exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Thanks to their exceptional service, we’ll definitely be coming back—this time with our whole family! Highly recommend both the rental and the team behind it.

This place was a hidden gym amongst the mountains close to boone..huge basement full of entertainment for my little kids was the highlight of the place.. outdoor gas fire pit and table made for a cool night of smores overlooking the valley and stars. Host was very responsive when i needed something. Place was very clean and spacious and great for 2 families. Would stay here again for sure!! Hot tub on the deck was awesome too

I had the pleasure of spending two days in the beautiful “Mistletoe” yurt on the lake over New Year’s, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the Robert had gone above and beyond to exceed our expectations. The yurt was pristine, beautifully decorated for Christmas, and equipped with every amenity we could need. The pictures on the website don’t even do it justice—there’s so much more to the property and plenty to do on the lake. Everything worked flawlessly, from the huge chef’s grill to the cozy fire-place heater, in-unit AC/heat, 4-person jaccuzzi, personal fire pit, and electric blanket. Ample hot water for showers. Plenty of big, soft towels and blankets. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat out, kayaking, and even fishing. Despite the cool weather, we were perfectly comfortable and able to enjoy the outdoors. It was truly a spectacular weekend, and I can’t recommend this stay highly enough. Thank you Robert, we will be back very soon!

The location is perfect. Matched photos and description perfectly. The listing did have one error. One of the queen beds is actually a king. The river has a wonder sandy area right in front on the house which was perfect for the kids to play in. Would definitely book again.

We had a fantastic time here! There were 10 of us and we fit nicely. Two bedrooms upstairs, one on the main floor, and one downstairs. The pull out sofa in the basement was clean and looked like it was new. The host, Susan, was responsive to our questions and gave suggestions for hiking. She lives up the road and stopped by when she saw us outside to make sure everything was ok. Even with her so close (which is not really that close because of the amount of land on each property), she respected our privacy. There's lots of hiking here, but make sure it's not hunting season if you want to use some of the trails. The trail at the campground was still open and was one of the best trails I've been on. The kitchen and table worked for the 10 of us. I'm funny about water and the water out of the fridge dispenser passed the test. It wasn't gross like fridge water can get. Plenty of bathrooms, living space, chairs, etc. Great stay. Thanks, Susan!
