Cabin vacation rentals in Romania

My Brother and I visited Romania from the UK for a 3 night stay with the intention of only staying here for a night and spending the remaining nights in Bucharest. Within an hour of arriving we had booked the following nights stay at the cabin as we just didn't want to leave! The location is stunning, situated at the foothills of the mountains with a river running at the rear of the cabin with hammocks, a swing and a hot tub which all make for an extremely peaceful and relaxing stay! Georgeta, Adrian and their son Alex are a wonderful family and fantastic hosts who made us feel at home and settled from the moment we arrived with welcome drinks and tours of the cabin. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality and would highly recommend their place for anyone to stay! Oh, and don't worry about anyone breaking in, pet dog Luna will be there to sleep on the doorstep and keep guard whilst you relax!

Gorgeous cute cabin in the countryside with an INCREDIBLE view. Really felt like a world away. The cabin had everything you would need and Marius was very helpful and promptly responded to all messages.

The place is amazing, the cabana is clean, Moldovan is very kind and communicates very clearly. I recommend this place for everybody.

We had an amazing stay, the ciubar was perfect(someone mentioned in reviews they couldn’t warm it up in 2 days, we managed to do it in 3 hours and stays hot for a very long time), sauna is great too, we had a very good night sleep the beds are really comfy. Thanks for everything and hope we will come back soon!

We had an amazing time at Wild Spa. It was a relaxing weekend, we spent half a day inside, due to the rain, and it was so peaceful and relaxing, exactly what we needed. Alexandra was very helpful, reaching out to make sure everything is ok and offering help with anything. Overall we enjoyed the place a lot, also the surroundings are perfect for some hiking, walking and spending time outside.

It was all superlative. Excellent communication with the host, beautiful location, cottage equipped with everything and very warm. Thank you so much for hosting and most likely, we will be back. Note 10 cu steteluta 🤩

A cabin in a magical and special place. In the middle of the forest quiet and beauty The hot water pool is just an experience! Very highly recommended.

The cabin is beautiful, everything is specially designed and every little detail has been thought of, the cabin is clean, everything is green around, and in general, I highly recommend Zarnesti as a destination to travel around the area (with a car), a perfect cabin! We really enjoyed staying there.

A charming and cozy retreat, perfect for escaping the chaos of the city. The chalet is private and near the forest. It is well equipped. We felt at home, and even our little dog settled in right away. It’s a wonderful spot for a restful getaway!

it was a great experience at this cottage! we felt very good in the company of Traian and Rodica. They are very nice people and that's exactly what I think is the charm of this place. It makes it much more authentic. I can not omit the fact that it is very clean, cozy and the area in general is very fromy. I highly recommend and we will definitely come back!

Adela's house is a wonderful place in a quiet valley in the Maramureş Mountains. Cows with bells attached to their necks graze around. A real idyll! In addition, there is no network, so you can log out and admire the surroundings. You can hear owls in the evenings. The cottage has all the necessary amenities. Adela was very nice and helpful. During our stay, we had a problem with a lack of water, but Adela's family quickly dealt with it. We will be happy to come back here

One of the best experiences on AirBnB! Communication and check-in/out went smoothly, location is great - quiet, private, cozy. Very clean environment inside and also very nice and clean garden, everything felt like home. Simply lovely destination to stay. There is a lot of places to go not far from the cottage but this place is also perfect to just chill. Ramona was very nice and friendly and was there (online) for us any minute even through it was Easter ❤️

Absolutely perfect mountain getaway! This cottage is everything you could ask for – cozy, clean, and surrounded by breathtaking views. Waking up to the stunning mountain scenery every morning felt like a dream. The host, mr Ovidiu, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, providing thoughtful touches and local tips that made our visit even more special. The cottage itself was spotless, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing retreat. If you're looking for a peaceful escape in nature with an amazing host, look no further. Nel was really helpful with all our requests. He let us use his boats although we had limited experience with boats. The cabin is right next to the lake, with a beautiful view to the lake. We have made some memories we will never forget, thank you Nel for your hospitality!

We felt just like at home, clean and big space, good internet connection. It was easy to make fire and it gave good heath for hours, we didn't freeze. The host was very responsive. The kitchen is fully equipped. The only thing I would change is the coffee machine—it makes pretty bad coffee, haha. Everything else was great. Thank you!

The place is fantastic. We had a great time. The host and hostess are wonderful - they could not be better. I would love to go back and stay for longer. All the facilities were spotlessly clean, and there was nothing lacking. I recommend it 100%. The only problem we had was that on entering the location (coordinates) into Google maps, it took us up a steep, rocky, inaccessable, single lane, farm track, from which we had to reverse out. A friendly local hopped in our car and directed us round, by the tarmacked road, so it was no big deal. The host drove him back. What I really liked was the separate shared kitchen with everything you would want and the air con in the cabin. The location is rural, with birdsong etc. It is next to a haymeadow/orchard. It is idealic and peaceful.

Lovely, cozy and very clean house. Beautiful surroundings, great mountain view. We enjoyed every day of our stay here and would love to come back again.
