Rancho Esperanza

We loved our month long stay at Rancho Esperanza. The beds were very comfortable and the living area and kitchen were very functional. The heating and air conditioning worked very well. We experienced extremes in outdoor temps from low 40's to 100 plus days but were always able to retreat to the inside to stay comfortable. Most of all we loved the outdoor deck where we spent most of our time. We put out bird seed daily around the fire pit and little pond an as a result saw over 30 different species of birds. Our favorites were the daily visits by about a dozen Bobwhites that would come running into the yard, stay and eat for a while and then suddenly burst away in a flurry of noisy wings beats. There were 20 acres of land to explore with lots of paths to walk on. This place is extremely quiet and private and Maria (Connie) respects that privacy but was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Luisana was an extremely great hostess. Had a slight glitch with the AC when we got to the Airbnb but was taken care of immediately. She was quick to respond with any questions I had about the home or even going across the border. Overall we had a great visit with family and friends and would highly recommend this place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay even though it was only for a night. Close to the state park and some of the other natural areas we were planning on visiting. The space was private and very cute and clean! Itza was quick to reply when I had questions. We had everything we needed. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay here again!

Booked this AirBnB at the last minute while on a road trip. Was able to contact the host and get into the place very quickly after booking, and was greeted by a really sweet and friendly cat upon arrival. The RV was cozy, clean, and had a small kitchen and a nice shower. Basic kitchen equipment- silverware, bowls, plates, cups, 2 cooking spoons, one sharp knife and one small pan- no can opener or oil/spices so be sure to get your own if needed. There were no bath towels provided but we had our own. A/C units worked really well and kept the place cool. Overall great stay for an unbeatable price, would stay again.

Roma house This house served my wife and my needs here on the Rio Grande, which was birding many locations. It is a very large home that needs some love and care. The AC works pretty well for the first floor and we never ventured up to the second floor as it was very hot but there were window AC units. The master bed on the first floor was pretty comfortable and there was the best soaking tub with plenty of hot water. The kitchen lacked almost everything. There was not a chance to consider cooking. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. It was reasonably clean. Coffee supplied. Host very responsive.

From start to finish I had a great experience. Check in was easy and Toni went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. This ranch apartment was beautiful and the grounds were amazing. There was even a pond for fishing. I was able to explore the grounds on a nice cut trail and even saw some friendly long horns. Toni also has a wonderful green house where you can buy some beautiful cactus plants. I had an amazing time and will definitely stay again sometime. Toni’s place is definitely a hidden gem and a must stay at Bnb. I can’t say enough about this place. It was also super clean and had beautiful birds to wake up to. Simply an exceptional place to stay. Thanks again to the host for a wonderful stay. Happy New Years !

Wonderful Stay – Felt Like Home We stayed here for a family funeral, and it was exactly what we needed during a difficult time. My cousin and I were extremely happy with our stay. Ms. Maria was extremely helpful to us and we appreciate her very much for her kindness towards us. Everything was exactly like the pictures and the location was perfect. Thank you, Ms. Maria for everything. We definitely recommend this space and will stay again in the future. This was my first experience with an Air B&B, and because of Ms. Maria and her kindness and helpfulness, I will consider staying in an Air B&B again instead of a hotel.
