We had a great time, if anything the pictures don't do the place justice, it's beautiful. Great instructions on how to use everything, we hope to stay here again in the future.

This is our second time staying here and it did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful place to get away.

The location and the whole vibe of the house was amazing! There were a few books i was reading into that caught my eye! Thank you for the experience will be back in the summer or spring.

Emily’s place is a magical hillside home offering clean water creek access and great privacy. Rooms are spacious and the outdoor park is great for bigger groups and families. Our small 4 people’s group felt like in a mansion. Super tall redwoods and pines surround the house giving the feeling of living in a tree house. We hope to come back in the summer!

This place was exactly as described in pictures and words! Very comfortable and full of great amenities. Quiet and wonderful surroundings. Nice hikes nearby. Can’t wait to be back!

The house was conveniently located near town and had plenty of space for our group. Host was super flexible and very responsive. We enjoyed the abundant seating and relaxing hot tub amongst the trees.

Very cozy place, perfect place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet for a few days. Internet was a little slow, but it was still good enough for remote work (we didn't try turning video on for our meetings though). We would love to come back here, the hot tub and wood burning stove were great. Chadi was very quick to respond to any questions.

We appreciate the opportunity to stay at your cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and found the location very convenient for accessing Sugar Bowl. You and your team are quick to respond to any messages or calls. The kids had a lot of fun playing upstairs while the adults enjoyed conversations downstairs. The cabin is very clean and was warm upon entering. We will defiantly stay here again. Thank you for the snacks.

This was such a charming little slice of heaven tucked away in the pines of Nevada city. We had the best time here, it was so cozy and every room was so beautiful. A few of my friends and sister both said they wanted to move in haha. Also loved the yurt that was near the main house, it is absolutely beautifully done and the cute bathroom near by was adorable. There decor around the whole house had us in love, we are big fans of mushrooms and we loved all the little trinkets and mushroom things. Also we loved that it had no tv, just a radio, that way we could just put some music on and just enjoyed each other’s company with no screens. It was a great bonding experience and we will definitely be back to this home away from home. Thank you to the most friendly and attentive hosts, you both made it very easy to stay and helped with all questions. What a pleasure it was to stay in your home.

Our family of two adults and one teenager stayed at The Antler for four nights around New Year's Eve and really enjoyed being cozy at the cabin and using the hot tub. We loved being able to take a short walk to the many shops and restaurants in downtown Nevada City. We also hiked and enjoyed the nature along the South Yuba River and took a quick (one-hour) drive up to go snowshoeing and x-country skiing at Royal Gorge.

Honestly, couldn't have had a better experience. The property is truly great.

Our experience was extraordinary! We loved the location, welcoming and clear instructions, and the space was exceptionally appointed from the design to the small touches. We loved our week at the house and hope to return in the future!

Definitely would stay again. We liked the cabin and nice location. Met our needs. Only wish there was an earlier check in and check out without paying a fee. But then again I didn't ask for an exception.

We were absolutely enchanted by our visit to the Fairy Tale Cottage! The forest is so peaceful… a refuge, really. The grounds are charming. Inside the home, Suzan has thought of everything. Just bring your toothpaste and toothbrush. Thanks again for a memorable stay!

The cabin is lovely, roomy, and great for two couples. The kitchen has most of what you might need for general cooking. The location is very tranquil, but it is a bit far from town/restaurants/groceries/etc. Bring what you need and hang out there and enjoy the space.

A friend of mine found this place for me as I was leaving my hometown to escape the toxic relationship and drug addiction. I tell you that only in the status of someone out there was like me you needed a peaceful space to be. This should be a spot we all have hard times and there’s no shame in admitting that you have been down and out. Rest assured that you’re not alone and that a place such as this would be a good spot for you to gather your thoughts and be comfortable. Timothy was super cool and flexible with me even when I didn’t know if I was gonna stay an extra night or not and if I ever find myself in a bind and I need to stay there again I would do so without hesitation. Nevada county is a special place and I’m going to be calling at home for quite some time.. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We came to Nevada City with a pack of teenage boys headed to Sugar Bowl. Jeevikasa’s house has an awesome downstairs game room with pool, air hockey, darts, refrigerator, sauna, etc. that kept the boys occupied. It was very accommodating for a large group. The adults could relax upstairs while the boys played downstairs.

My dogs and I loved our recent stay at Amelia's! You can't beat this location. Downtown is just a couple blocks away with tons of cute shops, great coffee, and food. We hiked a few nearby trails, and everywhere downtown is really dog friendly. The bed is super comfy, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tub & fireplace. Amelia's place is super cozy!
