My friends and I stayed here for winter dance party. It was in a great location; walking distance to the surf ballroom. The place was full of cozy, knickknacks, and decorations. The kitchen was fully stocked with about any appliance or tool that you needed. There was a whole cabinet full of games to play if you would like. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is only less than a block from the lake.

A perfect home away from home while visiting our daughter. Amazing hosts, very accommodating, amenities were top notch. The hot tub allowed us to relax & unwind while watching deer & other wildlife move through the backyard. We will be back.

This is a great location in clear lake, and the cottage is packed with little extras for a family getaway. They have everything you could possibly need for the beach and the kitchen is fully stocked. We loved the game closet!

The futon is broken so we couldn’t use it as more than a twin size bed. Getting in is precarious because the sidewalk is not in good shape and neither are the stairs to the deck where the entrance and keys are. Other than that it was as described and clean!

We had a great girls’ weekend here. The layout is perfect for a big group: a wide-open living room/kitchen, comfortable beds, and another living room space downstairs. The house was immaculate and had every thing you might need. We’ll be back!

This home was very spacious yet comfy at the same time. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and we felt safe. TV’s in every room was an added bonus! Its minimalistic approach made us feel as we were not in someone else’s home. Justin was quick to respond to any messages sent.

Family cottage nestled along the woods & river

This house was wonderful for our party of 6, but it would easily accommodate up to 8. Not only are there a queen, 2 douple and 2 twin beds, but the living room is large and will seat 9 people. The two tables will seat 10 people. In addition to the full bath on the first floor, there is another bathroom with shower in the basement. We didn't use them but having a washer and dryer would be handy for longer stays. The views from the living room and kitchen are lovely and we regularly saw deer. The location was fairly convenient for us to spend time with our son's family in Wells and it was lovely. Our party consisted of adults, but this would be a nice location for families with children. The roomy 2 car garage is an asset in inclement weather. Will be staying here again if it is available for future family trips.

This was our third time here. Kandice is so nice and communicative. I always feel comfortable that there will be no issues with our stay. She is flexible and great with recommendations. The house feels like a home. So much room and easy to work while others play. Technology is top notch. Internet supports stream on g in 3 TVs and video conference calls. Wow. Steps for the lake and a few more steps to a new park and marsh land area. Tons of birds and fishing of concrete piers. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Thank you Kandice for taking care of us!!!! Water Place fit our needs perfectly! We were able to be together as a larger family under one roof for our family Christmas. The well stocked kitchen was a huge help, and we enjoyed the peaceful river views.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Josh and Katie’s house on Clear Lake, Iowa. The home was warm, inviting, and thoughtfully prepared, making it the perfect getaway.
