Vacation rentals in Rockcastle County

We came for fishing, and there was a dock we could use, but the photos don't show how far down you have to walk, or how terribly steep the slope is down to the dock. If you are older and can't get up and down steep slopes, don't rent thiis one. The cabin itself was very nice and was well equipped and supplied.

This chalet was absolutely perfect for our long weekend getaway to celebrate our one year anniversary! It was clean, quiet, and private! The fire pit and soaking tubs were the perfect addition for us to relax and enjoy our time there! The location was perfect... tucked away and private, but an easy drive to the many beautiful trails and parks we visited! Our host, Larry, was a great communicator and made wonderful recommendations for some great local hiking spots and restaurants when asked!

Peaceful and remote location. Such a relaxing experience. By far our favorite Air bnb! Definitely plan to return time and time again!

We booked this location to stay several days before our son's wedding, rather than pay exorbitant rates at the local hotel. Start to finish, Gwendolyn made this a fantastic experience! We arrived several hours earlier than expected and she was so accommodating, truly going above and beyond. The cottage is just lovely, like walking into a retreat and we really enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend!!
