I can’t give this place and the host enough stars! I don’t think 5 stars properly covers it. She was always friendly and fast to respond. It was my girls and I anniversary and she set out flowers for her that were beautiful. Now the place, inside is super cute, clean and well setup. We loved that there were board games and movies there. Outside was breathtaking and just what you want for a peaceful getaway. It’s now going to be our go to place when we need a weekend to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life. Truly has beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere.

I really hated to give this place a good review, because it was so awesome I'm afraid now will have a harder time getting booked! Less than 15 minutes to any restaurant or store in Logan, but felt a million miles away when you're at the cabin. Super comfortable, super quiet and relaxing. Can't think of a single negative.

We had a great stay! It was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family. The kids especially loved all the game options. The home was well-stocked with everything we needed - towels, kitchen supplies, blankets, and more. It’s also super close to amazing hiking trails in Hocking Hills! Would definitely stay again!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Rusty Horse Lodge. The house has literally everything you could think of and more! There were so many amenities that kept us busy and making memories all weekend long— even the down time watching cartoons stood out to my kids because of the awesome set up. The kitchen was stocked with just about everything you could need, including a very stocked coffee station. Amit was an amazing host who provided great recommendations, very communicative and making sure we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond in so many ways — including setting up an Easter egg hunt for the kids since we stayed over the holiday. I could not say enough great things about the host and the cabin. If we are ever in the area again I’m definitely going to be booking with Amit!

Sean’s place exceeded expectations! Secluded in the woods with so much patio space for hanging out and playing games. There is one short trail right off the house and to get to the visitor center(main trail heads) at hocking hills it’s about a 25 minute drive. Plenty of room for our group of 12 adults. Highly recommend!

Although our stay was short, it was everything we needed it to be. The location is very private and the house had a ton of charm and was very clean. Due to the time of year, the surrounding forest hadn’t leafed out yet and it was a bit too cold to enjoy the outdoor spaces but when it’s warmer during the summer, for anyone looking for a private place with wonderful outdoor dining, a huge firepit that can fit 8 people easily and a hot tub to use on cooler nights, it’s great! The beds were super clean, and you could tell the owners had updated the inside just enough to make it feel new even with the older “barn style” charm. Looking forward to going back again during the summer!

We also enjoyed grabbing coffee at a nearby café and browsing some local antique shops, which added to the charm of the trip.
