Very clean, tastefully decorated. Nice landlady. Area very nice and quiet. Lots of mosquitoes that can be expelled with mosquito spray and candles! Windows had all the mosquito nets, which was great. It had some bikes, unfortunately partly in poor condition. Initially the village helpful gas station that offers bicycle service. The long sandy beach almost empty at the end of October, beach cafe still open, pizzeria original and very delicious. We had a great stay!

Since our arrival, we were greeted with great kindness by Judith, who made our stay even more enjoyable. The house is a real gem, full of light that fills the eyes and heart. The huge windows let in the sun, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in every room. The furnishings and decorative objects are simply wonderful, with special details that make every corner unique and charming. The apartment is comfortable and very well cared for. An oasis of peace and sun. The sea is enchanting and the recommended restaurants in the area turned out to be great!Marta was courteous, friendly and very generous giving us fresh fruit freshly picked from her garden!!!!

Marco’s place is truly in the countryside on a very ‘non-touristy’ country road lined by small farms. We literally stood in the garden and watched a flock of sheep being moved down the narrow street past our fence. There are a variety of lovely spots in the garden to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The rooms and furnishings are in a classic ‘old school’ un-modernised style which was a lovely contrast to other different accommodation styles we experienced on our trip to the south of Italy. There is no shower us such but a hand held shower hose in the bath - which was absolutely fine, no problems, but you do have to step in and out of the bath which could pose a problem for people with mobility issues (but fine for us). Being in the countryside the last couple of kilometres to the house are quite rough (pot holed bitumen) but this adds to the charm and sense of being away from any touristy zone too. The location is great - from here we easily drive to Matera, Pisticci, Craco etc

Four of us came to see our grandparents village: for our first time visit Miglionico was charming and told us enough of what we wanted to know. But the village and the location is just so beautiful. I am selfishly grateful that it is not so touristy and that people make me use Italian. I always felt safe. I expect to return again hopefully with my daughter and hopefully to Grazia’s accommodation.

Filomena's place is perfect for us traveling with our dogs (and a cat!). Simple but clean, very functional, the extra garden is fenced for the safety of our dogs. Filomena is very nice and friendly, she left us everything for breakfast and also to cook a pasta in the evening. The house is close to the highway entrance, very comfortable for us who were passing through. I confirm that the fence borders the state road but we had no problems and even the noises are minimal. We will definitely be back! Thank you.
