The stay was overall very good and we would recommend this property. The location was beautiful and secluded. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. Instructions on how to access the property were prompt and detailed. The garage apartment smelled very good and was exceptionally clean. It is set up more like a studio. The entryway is where the first bed is located with laundry and bathroom. The second bed is located in the main studio area. The laundry was very helpful with detergent available. If you have pets, please kennel them as there are pet deterrents behind the couch that could be dangerous. Overall it is a 5/5 rating and we have shared the listing with family for when they stay in the area.

As expected, a lot of wildlife.

A lovely peaceful getaway among the rolling hills in West Virginia with beautiful farmland all around. Rebecca, the co-host is fantastic and my stay was better because of her! She took me on a tour of the farm, the two farm dogs Thelma & Louise were so gentle and sweet…great companions on a walk, and Rebecca was very responsive. Benjamin has a lovely property and I would recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in West Virginia!

Valorie and Jim were the best hosts! So friendly and helpful. We ended up adding another night extra day and they were so accommodating. The house was beautiful and very peaceful. We had to come to town for a funeral but just being at their place eased our stress and worries of the outside world. My only regret is we weren’t here before they closed the pool for the season. It’s beautiful. We will be back!

Rob's place was fantastic. He greeted me and my dog as soon as we arrived, which made us feel welcome right away. As a cautious dog owner, I'm always mindful when introducing my dog to others, but all three of Rob's dogs were friendly and got along with mine. The property itself was a perfect spot for your dog to roam and explore freely. We walked to the pond at the back of the property and took in the peaceful silence. The bedroom was excellent—it had everything I needed and was wonderfully warm. It was a definite step up from our usual tent camping setup—a true glamping experience! The only minor note is that you have to step outside and around to get to the bathroom, but with the doors side by side, it wasn’t an issue at all. I also had some work to do during my stay, and the desk and Wi-Fi setup were perfect. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again!
