Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Rivière du Rempart District

Nice apartment close to the sea. There are some restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The apartment itself is equipped. Not very new furniture but very comfortable including sleeping. The host was always available, solved any problems. A very pleasant person to communicate with.

nice place. we had some issues with the electricity in our room, but they fixed everything very quickly to a degree that was enough for us. very nice and helpful staff, I can also recommend the ayurvedic massage by Preety!

My other planned stays in Mauritius were at large resorts and I was apprehensive that I may not be comfortable or engaged at this cozy spot. However, deciding to stay at The Good Life was a fantastic decision and led to some of the most memorable experiences I had on my (solo) trip. Antoine and his wife were warm and welcoming; he provided me with numerous resources, information and assistance. Above and beyond. My sole minor complaint was the unavailability of air-con during the (hot, humid) days. I appreciate the effort to be eco-friendly, but if you intend to spend time in the room, this is something to consider. That said, both the breakfast area and bungalows are cheery, bright, modern and spotless. The pool and gardens are magical - an absolute oasis. There are numerous thoughtful touches in the design of the rooms, delicious, fresh meals, solicitous service (thank you, Cavita!) and whatever detergent they use smells INCREDIBLE. Extremely idyllic and quiet accommodation in a beautiful garden. We felt very comfortable! The host is very attentive, eager and helpful. We would come back right away but would like to point out that a rental car is definitely necessary to explore the area.

Beautiful quiet villa with garden typical of the island in a pretty residence with caretaker, pool and tennis. The hosts provide everything for the stay, the amenities and the bathroom are excellent. Excellent value for money because villa + internet+pool+housekeeper 30/20 in Brenda who welcomed us with a smile and conviviality and who cooks good Indian and Mauritian dishes perfectly. We'll be happy to go back!
