Cozy Country Cottage-Near Charlottetown

Sue’s place had a large yard away from other houses for our dog to run. Her house is peaceful and quiet with real no traffic. Easy ten minute drive to Cornwall and all the amenities you need. We liked the open concept kitchen, dining and living room. Eight people could easily enjoy a meal. Beds are comfy and she had everything you could think of for amenities. We appreciated the homey feel with the extra blankets, Kleenex and garbage cans in each room. Would sleep four adults and one child comfortably. Don’t hesitate to book if you need a spacious and safe yard for your dogs to enjoy! Thanks Sue!

Lyndsay's cottage was exactly what we were looking for in a month-long holiday rental. It was comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed. We were able to dial in to do school work, relax, spread out puzzles on the table, and cook all of our meals. The master bed was luxurious... we slept so well. And I brought way too many clothes, as we were able to keep up with laundry, so we wore the same cozy outfits over and over. Thank you, Lyndsay, for your hospitality! You were the best host! This was our first trip to PEI and we were unfamiliar with the area. We had a lovely stay in the beautiful cottage and had everything we needed, except shampoo. :-) It was a little removed from restaurants, shopping and grocery stores but forced us to venture out and explore! The cottage was lovely, and the beds were so comfortable!

We couldn't have been happier! Lyndy's lake house was beautiful and peaceful. It was very clean and had lots of pantry items that we were able to use. The location is absolutely beautiful being right on the lake. Our kids played for hours by the water. Lyndy was very responsive and even left us some gluten-free cookies in the freezer when she found out that my daughter had Celiac Disease; something that had never been done for us before. It made my daughter so happy. Highly recommend!

It was clear why Taylor’s place had 5 stars as soon as we arrived. Everything was clean and welcoming. The view was spectacular and we loved having so many options to relax and get comfy with our pups. There was a welcome basket for both humans and dogs alike! It can be a challenge to find accommodations that will accept them so finding this gem was wonderful. The home is centrally located so getting to any sites is easy, but secluded enough to enjoy a romantic or family vacation. We’re hoping to stay here again when we return to PEI because it surpassed our expectations. The pictures really don’t do it justice at all! Thank you so much for your hospitality Taylor!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Bryan was an excellent host who went out of his way to ensure we had an overall excellent experience. This house is everything you see in the photos/ description and more. The kids absolutely loved the basement. This property is located in the prettiest area less than 20 minutes away from the town. We highly recommend it :)

Our stay at Monique's Cottage was exceptional. An authentic slice of Maritime Heaven. Growing up, I spent most summers in PEI, so know the Island very well. That said, Montague was new to me, and it exceeded each and every expectation. The location of the cottage was ideal, very close to town, restaurants, and many Maritime Music options. Location was very private and quiet, and enjoyed daily swims on the beach. Weather was warm, so the air conditioning was very much appreciated, resulting in excellent sleeps. Can not say enough about how much we enjoyed Montague, MacDonald's Bakery, Windows on Water, and Copper Bottom Brewery were a few of our many favorites. Really enjoyed Georgetown and close proximity to Charlottetown. We'll be back. Glen.

It was our first time on Panmure Island. The weather wasn't terrific but Tony's place was clean and comfortable so being inside didn't matter. It was great that we could bring our two dogs for their first holiday away from home. We got to the beach/Provincial Park and loved it. Had a drive around the Island and am looking forward to returning when the weather is a bit better

Wonderful relaxing place for the 2 of us. Tubs and Hot tub are extremely nice. Room for 6. We cooked, grilled, and relaxed. It was a perfect place to stay for us. 2 bathrooms, but only 1 shower. Something for a larger group to be aware of.

This was our second stay at ABC chalet. It’s a top notch, family friendly space- comfortably, cozy, and well equipped. Our children (7 & 10) enjoyed having their own space in the loft area. The layout was perfect for our family of 5 and we love the proximity to Ski Wentworth. PJ is a friendly and accommodating host and all necessary info was communicated clearly prior to arrival. Will likely stay here annually for our family ski getaway:)

We had an amazing 4 night stay in one of the Chalets - we didn't want to leave! The view from the upper chalets is unbelievable. Kelly was a wonderful host! She was always extremely quick to respond and answer any questions - she was even able to assist us retrieve an item that another member of our party, staying in an adjacent chalet, left behind. On the day of arrival, we were able to check-in early and enjoy the property. There was even a welcome gift with some snacks - such a nice 'added touch!' The chalets were as clean and well appointed as we had remembered from previous stays. There were lots of linens available, but there is also a washer and dryer in the chalet. Gary, the groundskeeper was so friendly and told us about some of the history of the property. On site, there is a small beach with loungers & a fire pit, a pond with a new dock and watercrafts. There's a heated pool, small basketball court, a games room and lots of space for biking. We can't wait to return!

Lisa and Jared’s place is amazing. We felt right at home. The space was beautiful inside and out and had all the amenities needed for a cottage stay. It was also setup perfectly for our two dogs who had a great vacation too, thanks to all the little touches (dog bed and toys, fenced yard, lots of sticks to chew). The view was breathtaking and the beach was wonderful to walk - lots of treasures to find. The house was also welcoming to our six year old with puzzles, games, and plastic plates/cups. We would recommend this stay to anyone and hope to get back again someday!

The tranquil landscape with its lovely pines was a true retreat from the everyday hustle. Your cabins were charming and well-appointed, providing all the comforts we needed. Waking up to nature's sounds and relaxing by the fire pit under the stars were the highlights of our stay. Thank you for your kind hospitality! Your friendly welcome and helpful tips made our time in Prince Edward Island even more special. We enjoyed exploring the island's beauty and savoring its delicious local delights. They were absolutely amazing with us. Even though it was a last minute book, they got us in right away. The view was on another level and they were so quick to respond to some of my silly questions. Our little guy got sick the last night there and they were very understanding, then when some of our daughters “stuffie friends” were left behind they were fine with us going back for them. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The airbnb of Matt & MJ is great, in terms of facilities, equipment, and decorations. We have a fun time here with our friends. The kitchen is great and the Jacuzzi is fantastic. Matt & MJ are very nice and offer many helps to us during our stay. It is a good rest to stay two nights during our trip to the eastern coast of Canada. I would have no hesitation to recommend this wonderful Airbnb to our friends if they would like to take a trip to PEI next time.

If we could give our stay more than 5 *, we would. The cottage was perfect for our family and Lee-Ann was a fabulous and responsive host. From the kitchen supplies, to the beach towels, to the games and books, every detail was thought out. We loved the peaceful and quiet location. It was a quick drive to the local grocery store and close enough to Charlottetown that we could go in for a walk/dinner. We managed to see most of the island in our short 5 day stay. We will definitely be back.

This cottage is private, unique and full of character. Very well equipped. The cottage has many lovely nooks and crannies, so everywhere you turn there's something new to discover. It's truly a retreat from the busy, noisy world, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's this kind of place that makes PEI so memorable. We have stayed at Wendall's place twice in both of his units. Obvious care has been taken to select furnishings that work well with the space. The hot tub is huge hit with our bowling team. Place was well organized, tidy and clean. Wendall has always responded promptly. Look forward to out next stay.
