Beautifully decorated vacation home, in a beautiful location. Small attention from the host, such as fresh flowers, fruit basket, and robes, made the stay extra comfortable and welcoming. Everything went great!

This is an exceptional cottage in a beautiful and private setting. We couldn't see neighbours through the forest and were able to enjoy the lake in peace too. The lake was a good size (not a pond), and joins onto a bigger lake which was great for a rowing boat trip. The cottage itself is not big, but cosy and fine for two people with a pull out sofa and warm at night. It had everything you need, like firewood, candles, matches, repellant, drinking water, basic kitchen supplies (salt, oil, etc.). The sauna (with lake water) and grill were easy to use. The tensile was a novel experience but may be a bit slanted for some sleepers. Great value for the space, privacy and beauty of the place!

Cozy and original house! The host was relaxed and flexible. Messaging worked and the responses came quickly. It accommodated 10 people and was well accommodated. The beds, pillows, and blankets were clean and tidy, as was the rest of the apartment. Very strong recommendation :)

It's a wonderful place for vacation and relaxation. We had a small dog with us, who also got to enjoy a vacation with us. There were drinks and food stalls left for the dog, which was a lovely addition. ❤️ everything went smoothly and the owner of the stay responded quickly to messages. Beautifully decorated with great views. Visited in the first days of April and enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, ice fishing, and doping. A nice addition was the bathrobes, clear instructions on how to get there and leave. We'll definitely go again someday 😍

Amazing place with stunning views. This cozy cottage was everything we had hoped for. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. Location was great and close to attractions and restaurants. Great host.

We've really enjoyed our stay at Sanna's cottage by the lake. The environment is perfect for anyone who wants to chill and relax in an extremely quiet and peaceful nature environment. In summertime, just listen to the wind in the trees, geese and ducks passing by, enjoy the veranda view from sunrise to moonrise, as well as stargazing. Sanna's cottage is clean and comfortable. Kitchen, bathroom and sauna are all well-equipped. We ran our errands on our way from Kuopio airport to have everything we needed for the first part of our stay. We quickly got used to the steep staircase that leads to the upper bedroom and to the exterior bathroom. The living room is decorated with charm. With Sanna's indications, we had everything to be autonomous throughout our stay. For sure, Sanna's cottage by the lake will hold a special place among my summer memories for a long time.

Peaceful house and location. Walking distance to downtown and the train station. Tidy up and included the necessary things like the kitchen. Easy to find and a smooth check-in. Could book again
