We loved staying at the Snuggle Inn! It was in a quiet location but still close to Desoto falls, little river canyon, and desoto state park. I will say to research restaurants in Mentone before coming. Everything in Mentone was closed, but the market, during our stay so we had to travel to fort Payne for every meal. Our fault completely, but a little inconvenient. A must see is the sunset or sunrise at Brow Park. It’s beautiful! Bring paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and laundry detergent. I wish we would have had enough, but we didn’t. The cabin was nice. Very clean.

The cabin was cozy and charming. We enjoyed the fireplace on such chilly days. It was secluded amongst nature and yet easily accessed and close to town. Aaron was quick to respond to messages throughout the entire time. We would stay again.

We absolutely loved the cabin. I would definitely recommend and hope to come back and stay again. We had so much fun and really enjoyed the cabin and our time together.

This house is fantastic! It is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Hosts were easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. There is so much room and even with 8 people, no one felt cramped. You will not regret staying here. I plan to come back and stay longer.

The A-frame house was even better than expected. The hot tub was heavenly - one of the highlights of our visit! Even though the house is in a community, it's quite private owing to the woodland setting and the arrangement of the houses. We loved the tall windows and the feeling of living both indoors and outdoors. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and roomy, the kitchen more than adequate, and the living area large and open. We will definitely be planning a return visit.

Loved how clean and inviting this cabin was. It was close to a lot of outdoor activities that we absolutely enjoyed. This was a trip for my fiancé birthday and to say the least he was beyond happy.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our weekend getaway at Owen’s place! Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Only 5 minutes off the interstate, but felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. Owen was super helpful and always responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend this little mountaintop getaway!

A beautiful place to stay surrounded by nature. Private and peaceful is how we felt about Little Bear Cabin. We had a great time and it was a central location to visit Mentone and Valley Head as well as Fort Payne. Clean and beautifully decorated home and a great little fire pit out back.

Great location right next to Cloudland Canyon State Park! Everything in the listing was accurate. We had issues getting into the cabin, but Rhiannon was proactive and responsive to help us. We felt right at home in the cabin. There are straightforward rule for the stay and check out. Easy to follow. We appreciate the little notes around the cabin. Thank you again Rhiannon for hosting us.

We had so much fun with Sampson and the dogs!! Her place is so cute! Especially the Christmas decoration!! We will definitely come back!!

In the top 5, if not the best stay, I’ve had and I’ve had a lot. Ha. Picture perfect cabin in idyllic setting. Wish we have had more time to enjoy. Definitely will be back. Built with love and absolute gem.

We've stayed here several times. Been coming long enough to see the beautiful transformation of her property. Her bakery and restaurant are outstanding place to eat. Oh ya and hanks corner too. Cindy has made my wife the most beautiful birthday cake several times and delivered it to our cabin. ❤️ my wife fell in love with this place from the first stay. WE WILL BE BACK..... Thank you Cindy for such a beautiful place.

Perfect place to disconnect, relax and enjoy nature. we love it

Loved our stay in this secluded private little gem in the woods. We got in late in the evening to find the bridge and house all lit up with beautiful Christmas lights. The cabin itself was warm and inviting, you walked into an open living room with candles in the fireplace (which is functional). The bedrooms were spacious, well laid out and clean. The kitchen was large and well stocked with all the basic tools to prepare food while you relax. The yard has a wonderful easy trail leading to a few benches to sit on and enjoy the trees and small creek. Yes, you can hear the road but it did not affect how peaceful and relaxing the woods were. Follow the directions Gail gives you and you will have no issues finding the driveway. This was a great getaway, a little hidden home away from home. We are both looking forward to another visit.

Stayed a week with my family and thoroughly enjoyed this place. Would recommend to others. One important tip for others looking to stay…. If you’re looking to go out and about to see the sights be prepared for a minimum 35-45 minute drive. The condition of Mullins Cove Rd makes this place a little more remote than you’d otherwise expect. But still worth it… especially if you find the swim holes and hiking trails that are closer to the home.

We had an absolutely peaceful vacation. The property was quiet and so very beautiful. We needed some rest and relaxation and we got it here. We cooked every meal, the home had everything we needed. We loved the fire pit and swings. We enjoyed the lake. We even had a few friendly dogs and a great big sweet cat visit. The only thing I can come close to being negative about was, it’s super dark coming in at night and it’s hard to see. A street/yard lamp would be nice. We would stay here again anytime we visit the area. Best Airbnb we’ve ever rented.

I would absolutely come back to this cabin. The home was absolutely amazing and exactly as advertised. Communication was almost immediate and top notch. Very easy to find and the driveway lights were always on at night for when we were out past sunset. Absolutely amazing, friendly, spotless, and beautiful. Felt very welcoming and I really appreciated the clear guidelines that were set. I think it is always best for everyone to set expectations as there are no misunderstandings and it just allows both parties to have great experiences. 5 stars all around!!! Thank you so much!!!

This little cabin in the woods is a hidden gem. The view is spectacular and the cabin is quirky ( in a good way) and cozy. We did not have access to the hot tub but it is a huge hot tub with amazing sunset views. I am sure it would add to anyone's visit to this property. The cabin is well decorated with just the right amount of pieces to create an atmosphere without clutter. The kitchen has what you need to prepare meals and clean up. The stove is an antique gas stove that looks intimidating a first glance but is very simple to use. I made some of the best biscuits ever in the gas-lit oven. There is no wi-fi but there is good cell service. We were a little disappointed about the trails on the property. None of them are marked and the paths that we found that we thought might be trails were overgrown and impassable. I know others have been able to access them we were not able to. I recommend this property to anyone looking to disconnect and relax in nature.

If you're looking for a place to get away and have some privacy, this is it. I got there Friday, went to Food City, and didn't leave again until check out on Sunday. Did a little fishing from the dock, fed the adopted stay cat, and watched some football on Saturday. I works recommend this as a get away from everything.

We had a great stay. The heat went out the first day, and it was very cold. Shannon and Shane responded quickly and did everything they could to ensure we were warm and comfortable. The home was exactly as described and very peaceful. We used the fire pit both days and loved it. There is so much space inside and out to spread around and explore. If you're needing some unwind time, this is the perfect spot. I will definitely book with them again at this location and others they have. They are awesome and very caring.

Beautiful cabin & scenery! The photos don’t do this cabin justice! A lot bigger, very spacious & clean. The kitchen was fully stocked, everything you need & then some. Highly recommend & we will definitely be staying here in the future!
