Private suite vacation rentals in Rio Arriba County

This is our second visit to Diane's place. It's walkable to the plaza, and just the right size for us. Our daughter loves the bunk beds and floor pillows! The little patio is a great place to sit and chat with a beverage after a long day exploring. We will be back next year hopefully!

Host was incredibly responsive and was very accommodating to a sensitive situation. Location is ideal for Taos. Super quiet and could see the beautiful stars but close to everything. Very easy logistics and a cozy place to stay. Especially with the wood-burning stove. Will definitely stay here again.

Leslie greeted us when we arrived @4 to answer any questions. We settled in and followed her recommendation of Orlandos for good New Mexican fare and then back to soak in hot tub after our long day of driving. Our next day we walked to breakfast at Michaels which was great bottomless coffee and excellent pastries. We continued walking around exploring plaza and shops convenient to our casita and then decided to take the Earthship tour, a fascinating off the grid community outside Taos. Then it was back to the hot tub for more soaking. We enjoyed our stay and made use of the coffee maker, mini fridge and utensils adequate for our weekend. Ken's place was great! We arrived at night and it was easy to get in. He was very responsive, the place was very clean and felt cozy.

This was like staying in the guest wing of a friend's incredible, pristine new, craftsman-built traditional but modern S.W style mountain home just a few minutes to the mouth of canyon. The house was just beautiful inside and out, and our guest wing was more spacious than I imagined. The location is at end of a private drive, a few minutes from mouth of the canyon up to Taos Sky Valley. There are mountain views on one side and sunset views on the other side, with a platform for watching sunset, while listening to the babbling brook that flows and winds across the back yard. The yard is like a Zen retreat space & would be worth returning in summer to chill out at. And also not far from Arroyo Seco. We got to know the hosts Patricia and Llan and they are very cool and wonderful people. And when I had a medical issue, they went out of their way to help me out. Laundry is available on request, but is in main house so I would not want to ask to wash more than a few loads a week, etc.

It has everything you need-coffee maker, lots of fluffy towels, mini-fridge, wi-fi, comfortable bed. Heather provided me some terrific recommendations for restaurants and coffee. Michael made a delicious bowl of oatmeal for me one morning. I enjoyed my conversations with them. Their dogs are sweet too. This is what Airbnb is all about.

The best part is Brandi herself. SAhge checked in each day to see how we were doing, and if she could help. The place was as advertised. Just lovely, No Issues at all.

Wonderful stay at Mary and David’s space. I arrived Christmas Day with my husband and parents. The space was nice and warm when we arrived on the snowy night. The photos and description are exactly what you get. The lodge was perfect for what we needed, 2 bedrooms that are on opposite sides of each other with a nice spacious living room with a fireplace in between. We enjoyed the quaint area with lots of wilderness and pristine views. During our stay we went to Los Alamos (~1.5 hrs away), Taos (~30 min away), and Santa Fe (~1 hr and 10 min away). Great lodge and location for the perfect quiet getaway. Thank you Mary and David for being quick to respond to our inquires. Would love to return!

Great stay! Highly recommend, very easy access to ski. Host provides clear instructions to find the location, and it is in a great spot. Would stay again if in the area.

Beautiful, spacious, private, quiet. My eight nights in Marci’s casita is one of my all time favorites. I’m a photographer who travels often to Taos. The proximity to all the landscapes (and restaurants) I enjoy is perfect. I’m also a writer and appreciated the table set next to the super comfortable bed, looking out the window. Her art and creative decorating details are top notch. I was able to cook and make coffee each morning. I’d been traveling three weeks when I landed at Marci’s, and had a lot of baggage. There were plenty of drawers and closet space for all my stuff. The views are spectacular, the space inviting, and I could easily envision a longer stay. I originally booked four nights, then added two and finally, two more! Marci was very responsive to the few inquiries I had, and is a delightful person to know. I will definitely return. Fabulous!

Awesome location! Very clean and kitchen was easy to use. Provided snacks. There's a bed and a comfy sofa to sleep on. Soft towels. Big yard for dogs. There's ramp to easily bring dogs on or roll up your luggage. Even though it's off the highway, the house is far back so I slept deeply. Stayed in the winter, heat was very warm and adjustable. Definitely worth the price and it is easy driving distance to restaurants and local shops.

Staying in Tom's casita by the pond was a delight. And, so is he. No complaints. The place was great and his presence added to it.
