Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ringebu Municipality

John was incredibly welcoming and helpful - even when we screwed up. It would be great to have an instruction for charging an electric car. The area is super lovely and close to skiing places and ski schools. Lots of cross country and toboggan runs. Our kids and grandchildren enjoyed our Christmas holidays and didn't think it should be the last time. There was even a Christmas tree we could decorate and dance around.

Very nice cabin and nice location. Good and warm when we arrived and had everything needed for an overnight stay. Recommended!

This is a magical place to stay if you want to experience a true Norwegian wild getaway. The cabin is spacious, secluded, and rustic. The firewood stove makes it really cozy and atmospheric. The area is great for hiking and cross country skiing. Our hosts Oscar and Nina were very friendly and always available to answer our questions! Great place :)

We had a pleasant stay in Gålå. We enjoyed sauna, whirlpool and the close access to the groomed cross country ski tracks.

Høvringen provides great nature. Knut’s cabin was warm, cozy and is a great and authentic Norwegian way to enjoy the mountains. The ski rental is 200m away with reasonable prices and run by very helpful people. We love the cabin and the area. The “løyper” were fixed and ready to go -even after the new snow arrived.

This is a wonderful place to stay and experience a piece of real Norway. Very comfortable, peaceful and with lovely hosts. Everything works perfectly - it should probably be a best kept secret! A very special place.

We had a lovely weekend at Bredo’s place. This is the second time we came up there. Its a very cozy place, well stocked kitchen and beautiful views. Hope to be back.

We had a great weekend in this cozy cabin! Absolutely perfect for those of us who were going to ski with a short distance to Sjusjøen. The host was very nice and hospitable and we felt welcome from the start. We would love to come back and highly recommended to others!

Good communication and super apartment!

We had 3 nice days in this apartment at Christmas. It was centrally located for both downhill and cross country skiing. The apartment had everything we needed both in the kitchen and the bathroom. The apartment is located in a house consisting of 4 apartments, and this apartment is on the 1st floor. If we are going to find something to put our finger on, it must be that they in the apartment above made some sound, but it is not the hosts their fault. ( now it should also say that we live in a single-family home and are never won with other people above us) Thank you for letting us rent the apartment! We are happy to rent it again if we are going to Sjusjøen.

Very cozy and modern apartment that was within walking distance to the ski slope, as we imagined because we were there on the sports holiday for skiing. From the apartment we had a wonderful view out over the village and mountains! Perfect driving distance and nice roads from Gothenburg. We would be glad to come back!

This was my third stay at Hans' place and as always everything was perfect! The place was very nice and cozy, but also thoughtfully equipped with everything one could need for a comfortable stay. Hans is also super friendly and nice. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot with an even greater host!

Lovely cabin. Right by the alpine center if you have to go downhill skiing. If you come for cross-country skiing, you can consider choosing a place up in Gålå, so you can drive directly onto the tracks (it's about 150 meters up, it's not a family trip). But we just drove the car up to Gålå three days and then took trips around there, so it can easily work.

We had a wonderful stay at Margarethe & Svein’s cabin together with our children. The atmosphere in the cabin is really special and we loved sitting at the fireplace each evening. It was great to have the cross-country skiing slopes just next to the cabin. Our kids loved to go sledding nearby thanks to Margarethe & Svein, who allowed us to use their sleds. We highly recommend the cabin. Thank you very much for your kindness and for having us as your guests!

We went there for the 2nd time and this time even almost 2 weeks. It was wonderfully relaxing, we were in the fresh air every day, mostly skiing in Birkebeineren, but also ice skate loops in Vignes, walking in Maihaugen, great toboggan route there and in Lillehammer. We also spent a day in Norseter and Sjusjøn, but found it much nicer down here. The view from the cabin is still stunning and this time there were also great northern lights. Our daughter loved the dog. The cabin is super conveniently equipped, warm with everything you need. We will be back. Thank you.

We spent our Christmas holidays in Siljas beautiful home as a family of five and we didn’t regret a moment. The house itself is spotless and really well equipped for any adventure. Silja gave a quick tour and really opened up all the possibilities for us. In case of questions she was really responsive and forthcoming in every way. Lillehammer is a magical place with a lot of „Julestemming“ and perfect for any kind of d of snow activity! Five thumbs up!

We had a great stay with our family with three children and were able to enjoy the tranquility and the great surroundings. Even with aurora lights right in front of the door we would be called. We would book the place again anytime...
