We really enjoyed our one week stay at Rosanna and Gaetano's 'ranch-style' house, which is low slung and sits in a generous olive tree grove, with a wrap-around terrace that offers shady seating areas. The house accommodates up to six people, and could accommodate a family of four very generously, though we were only two, so the place space felt huge. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower after a morning at the sandy beach, about 1 mile from the house. The surrounding countryside is arid (July) and evocative. Rosanna and Gaetano were perfect hosts, extremely welcoming and responsive throughout. We speak hardly any Italian and we speak hardly any English but we managed to communicate fine. They twice dropped off fresh pastries, were very helpful with local restaurant recommendations and when our return flight was cancelled they were flexible about letting us stay for a couple more nights. A great place with great hosts!

Beautiful villa in a beautiful landscape hosted by a beautiful family! The villa has breathtaking views of the Manfria coastline from the top of a hill. Amazingly it only take 5 minutes to walk down the hill to the beach which is wide and gorgeous. The house is beautiful with loads of spaces inside and out where you can relax throughout the day either in the sun or in the breezy shade. Daniela and her family are wonderful hosts who will welcome you like family with a quick tour of the property before leaving you with various goodies to enjoy for your first sunset or stroll on the beach. Thereafter Daniela is always on hand to answer any questions or help with anything that you need: always responding within minutes and with warmth and kindness. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best Airbnb house/experience we have ever had!

We were very well hosted by Daniela even though the check-in was a little chaotic with our GPS and the little information about the place, which is in the countryside. Daniela doesn't speak any English, which made things a little more complicated. But, we ended up finding it, that's the main thing. Upon arrival and departure, Daniela offered us Sicilian culinary specialties, which were very good and delicious fruit (special mention for almond cakes on the last day! ) The place is peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the pool, especially since we were alone in the rental, which includes two other apartments. The beds are very comfortable. In short, we really enjoyed this place because we were quiet. Our whole experience with Villa Clara has been perfect! This stunning villa really gave us everything and more than we expected. Prior to reaching the villa, we had some delays whilst travelling. Everything was more than accommodated for, nothing was trouble and they wanted to make sure we arrived safely. On arriving, our host met with us so we could be guided to the villa. We were met by three family members who were very friendly. They gave us a tour and showed us around the land and told us of everything that grows there. The landscaping is immaculate and the olive trees are just wonderful. It was a truly welcoming and homely experience! We were given Clara’s number should we need anything whilst we stayed. We messaged a couple of times and got very fast response s which we were grateful for. Olive oil from the olive trees that had been harvested was gifted to us. It really was a nice touch and olive oil was the best I’ve ever tasted. Thank you for making us feel at home x

We received a very warm welcome from Giuliana and her family. We were immediately impressed, the house is even more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. The house is wonderfully furnished and decorated! Nothing was missing and everything worked perfectly. We really enjoyed the pool, especially the water feature with the waterfall and the massage jets. The sunsets from the terrace were a dream. The view, even during the day, is outstanding. The whirlpool is certainly the highlight. Giuliana was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We also received great recommendations for the area. We had a wonderful time at Villa Deolinda and would love to come back. An absolute recommendation!

Very clean accommodation and even better than in the pictures because the kitchen has been fully furnished. The terrace and the view are great. The neighborhood is very quiet, but you have to take the car to get off at the beach. There's no pedestrian path while the sea is very close, it's a shame. We were hosted very well by Rosario who had lots of very nice touches especially for our children. The accommodation is well suited for the children. We recommend this host. Thank you again for your welcome. We'll be happy to go back

Charming hosts. Villa had 3 large bedrooms - two of which had front facing sea views. Large downstairs space, fabulous large terrace. Private drive with electric gates We loved the peace and quiet You definitely need a car and the drive in the dark initially was daunting but in daylight it was fine. Licata was an authentic town with lovely streets and beaches We would definitely return
