Our daughter got married this weekend at Margot Hill in Malakoff. This home was the perfect location for us to have space for friends & family to stay & relax. David was a gracious host with communication and clear instructions. We were pleased with our weekend stay!

A well-appointed kitchen features natural wood paneling and modern amenities. A spacious dining table is set for six, accompanied by wooden chairs. White cabinetry and stainless steel appliances create a functional cooking area. A window allows natural light to brighten the space.

I rented the “Firefly” cabin to bring my mom and my daughters for a weekend get away and to enjoy some peace. That is exactly what we got quality time with each other. The fishing the pool and the quaint and quiet cabin was exactly what we didn’t know we needed. If you need somewhere to unwind, de stress and unplug this place is top tier. The cabin and fenced area are great. With the cabin being the 1st property upon entering the community there is constant traffic passing by. Some of the neighbors had some noisy construction projects going on all day for several days, which made sitting outside under the shade trees pretty unpleasant. I’m sure that isn’t an ongoing thing but was pretty noisy during our stay.

The modern A-Frame structure features a distinctive triangular roof and a spacious concrete driveway, accommodating parking for multiple vehicles. Wooden elements and large windows create a harmonious blend with the natural surroundings, while a covered balcony extends from the second story.

This cabin was the perfect getaway. Plenty of room for our boat and so peaceful. You could access 4 different boat ramps within 15 minutes. Closest being a mile and a half away. Juan was quick to respond to any question I had. And we felt comfortable unhooking our boat at the cabin while we ran to town due to the privacy fence and gate. Can’t wait to go back.

Jeff & Leslie have a beautiful little cabin surrounded by true beauty and peace. I enjoyed yoga on the dock listening to the sounds of birds chirping and water flowing. The kids loved the bonfire, and the little visitors we had. (Bunnies, birds, squirrels) overall, loved the location, the place had everything I needed. Not once did I need something they did not have. I cooked several meals and we had a nice time unwinding and relaxing away from the big city. Would definitely return.
