Rappahannock County vacation rentals

We throughly enjoyed our stay in the Barn Loft. Andrea and Steve are gracious hosts. Prior to our arrival, we received information to prepare for our stay. We received timely communication on the date of our arrival. The property is even better than the pictures display. We truly felt welcome and at home. The furnishings are cozy and the beds are so comfortable. Our family enjoyed meeting the hosts, exploring the property, and the opportunity to rest and to relax in such a beautiful scenic area. We appreciated the fact that our dog could accompany us on this trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We look forward to returning.

Lovely place to stay! We had a minor confusion with the check in but the host got back to us immediately to help us get settled. We had a great weekend and were overwhelmed with the beauty of the surrounding area where this home is nestled. Cozy home and optimal place for friends or family to gather in nature!

Perfect rustic get away! We came here for our anniversary and would love to come back every year! So rustic and cozy. Charlotte was very flexible with our last-minute booking and gave local recommendations, great at communicating. A bottle of wine was waiting for us to help us celebrate our anniversary. We loved the view and the birds. Wish we could stay longer but alas it’s back to work Monday. Would not recommend for anyone looking to work remotely (wifi in mountains is spotty) or anyone with mobility issues (old stairs and slope outside etc). But if you’re looking for a cozy getaway with a great view, go for it! Pros: view, fireplaces, cozy, eclectic artistic vibe, nearby town, mountains and lovely approach road, birds, quiet, star gazing, can drive to national park, friendly host.

The Wandering Caribou was excellent! It was such a wonderful getaway in the mountains and it felt so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed our time there and high recommend staying here. Amir was a wonderful host. We can’t wait to come back again.

This was our second time staying around Susan’s place, which should indicate how much we liked it the first time around! Her home is the perfect location to spend a weekend in lovely Sperryville — it’s a cozy, well-kept apartment with a great deck and walking distance to so many wonderful spots. Susan responded within *minutes* when there was one item we needed during our stay. We’d love to come back a third and fourth time!

Lisa’s place truly felt like a home away from home. I love cooking, and the house was stocked with everything I could possibly need and more. The attention to detail throughout the house was amazing, creating the perfect retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and daily life. It’s so peaceful and serene—exactly what we were looking for. By far, this is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. My family and I will absolutely be back!

This is a beautiful property, calm and serene. Great for a weekend getaway in the DC area. We loved the private hot tub and the fireplace! The cottage was clean and cozy, made us feel at home!

What a beautiful home and weekend getaway! Matthew was the most perfect host. He was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. The home itself was very spacious and filled with all the necessary amenities. The ping pong table downstairs was also a great addition. All of Matthew's recommendations for nearby attractions were spot on. From the winery to restaurant recommendations, we truly had a great time. Also, the location of the home is great. We ventured out to the Luray Caverns one day and it only took 25 minutes. Overall, a great weekend at a beautiful place and location. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
