Loved it thoroughly. Greeted with a beautiful ensemble of flowers, birds and furry pets, we felt one with the pristine ambience the moment we stepped into the property. You can adore the view of Kanchenjunga while having your morning tea at the porch. What more can someone want! We cut back on our sightseeing plans just to spend a few more leisurely hours at the property, such is the charm. We stayed for four days and ate heartily. We would come back just to have Aunty cook us Nepali dishes again. Not even once was the breakfast menu repeated. Sanjay is a remarkable gentleman, extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

The place was good from inside. The look of the building from outside may not seem appealing as it's an old apartment, perhaps from 1930s. But, the house is beautifully decorated in the inside and offers an amazing view of the Kanchenjunga from every room. We had the entire place to ourselves, so it offers privacy. Hemanto, the caretaker was very responsive and friendly. He was always available for all our queries and everything we needed. I can't really thank Marina, the helper, enough. She helped us with the chores. She kept the house squeaky clean. I traveled with three senior citizens, one of them couldn't travel most of the days and stayed in, Marina heated and served her the food we kept and stayed till she ate. There are a few cons: - There are forty steep stairs to climb. This should be highlighted instead of just mentioning in a sentence in the long description. - The bathroom ceiling in the first bedroom is broken and the bathroom stinks.

We had a comfortable time at this place. The view of Kanchenjunga was beautiful from there. The room is exactly as described and in a good locality. The host was very friendly and greeted us with a Darjeeling tea every morning and set up campfire at night whenever requested. It's a good area and i recommend choosing this place to stay.

The nearby village is like stepping into a postcard, with its quaint monasteries and picturesque farms growing paddy and vibrant oranges. It’s a delightful escape into a simpler, more peaceful way of life. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and make us feel at home. A special shoutout to Zabir, whose warm hospitality and global perspective (thanks to his years in Canada) truly elevated the experience. His responsiveness and thoughtful touches made our trip even more special. If you're looking for a blend of natural beauty, cultural charm, and impeccable hospitality, this is the perfect place!!

We had an amazing stay! Pravesh made us feel right at home with his warm and friendly nature. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and provide everything we needed. The property was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped for our stay. It's clear that Pravesh genuinely cares about his guests and puts a lot of thought into creating a welcoming environment. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend staying here.

One of our best staying away experiences. All the amenities and appliances were right at the place. Great kitchen. Convenient toilets. It has a great hill view and the view of the cityscape as well. We had mesmerizing view of Kanchenjunga from all the rooms and the balcony. Also, the sunset from the balcony is breathtaking. It was clean and comfortable. Ease of access is phenomenal; specially in a stair-clogged city like Darjeeling it is a bliss. Easily accessible by cars. The caretaker and the host both are warm and responsive. Mr. Pranesh, the caretaker solved all the minor issues we had promptly and efficiently. Will stay here definitely while visiting Darjeeling again.

We had a relaxing and rejuvenating stay at Izom Him Homestay. The host was very responsive and caring, the Manager Raj was equally responsible and prompt. The food served by Pronita was homely and had amazing flavours. Only downside is the approach to the homestay which our host had well informed us. I wish the roads are mended pretty soon for easy access. We faced no difficulties in the commute as Raj had helped us with pick and drop services. Thank you for having us.

Fantastic place. Quiet (which was great as there was a festival on - rock- and this was out of the noise). The stroll into town was so enjoyable (note if walking is hard and being amongst the bustle is key then this might be a stretch). The views from two bedrooms are breathtaking- I’m not sure anywhere else would have this view. It was warm with lots of heating and hot water. Large kitchen. Large Lounge. Lots of places to be together or apart if you needed respite from each other. Very easy to communicate with. Everything works well.

A great place to stay near Darjeeling Mall. The home is clean and beautiful. The kitchen is so well equipped.. We felt completely at home in this place. The view from the balcony is mesmerizing. The home is at a walkable distance from Mall Road. It is on Upper Tungsung road, which is very narrow. However, with Aniruddha's proper guidance , we reached the place with ease.

We had a wonderful stay at Sugam's place. The homestay was cozy and comfortable, the surrounding was picturesque, and our host as very warm and welcoming. The experience was one of its kind. Everything was perfect, will definitely recommend if you want a break from the hustle bustle of the city and spend your time reconnecting with nature.

The Property was absolutely beautiful and an awesome getaway for families. Ayan was very helpful and shared great advice and recommendations. Kalpana didi was the icing on the cake for being hospitable and her cooking was Top Class.

Awesome view from balcony. right in the lap of Nature surrounded by mountains, trees and a very adorable cute puppy liza. the staff are very helpful, guided us to load / unload our luggage and always responsive. A perfect family vacation we spent for a night here. Appropriately named as birdsong for this place as we could hear sweet melodies sung by birds most of the time.
